Incredible story telling and a wonderful day in Disney history. Thanks for all of your hard work to document the "Before and After". This video will help me show my friends and family why I am a Citizen of Disneyland.
I loved this video!! Thank you for your amazing storytelling/documentary style. Your videos are the only Disney ones I’ll put on and just sit and watch - not put on in the background while doing housework etc. Your insights and pov are unique and exciting! Hope your channel continues to grow and expand!
Disney has almost 15 years of the wonderful world of Disney programming, I know a lot of it was movies but I don’t see most of it on Disney plus. Where is it all?!? All the old Disneyland shows aren’t there either.
Great job Brickey! I always enjoy your narration & that little "gravel" & tone in your voice. The editing was spot on. You are not just a vlogger, you are a mini film maker. I was born in 1955 & grew up as a Disney kid for as long as I can remember. Every July the family would go for my birthday, the memories are priceless! Every vlog you post both honors & continues to create the magic behind Walt's little park. He would come into our homes every Sunday & I loved him as if he were family. One very special memory was my family already boarded on the Fire Truck & out of the Fire Station walked Walt!!....A thrilling moment I'll never forget! Thanks for keeping the Magic Alive!
Thanks Brickey for this wonderful salute to Walt and his Disneyland. Your gift of Disney knowledge and words that transform to the pictures of what you see is amazing. I appreciate your work on all the content on your various channels.
This is truly a love letter to Disneyland’s 68th birthday! And it will continue to grow! I am just blown away by the visual storytelling! You continue to raise the bar! Thank you so much, Brickey! I appreciate you!😊 Happy Birthday, Disneyland! Keep on shining bright!
@@HeyBrickey oh shoot! I did not realize that! But still, I love it regardless :). You and FreshBaked nailed it today with your vintage Disneyland tributes 🤗
Thank you for this beautiful video! I love your story telling. Disneyland is my happy place and I hold such a special place in my heart for Walt. I want to thank him some day and share with him all the beautiful experiences I have had with friends and family at Disneyland!❤
Why is it that I get all chocked up with tears in my eyes everytine I watch these type of videos. Knocked it out of the park once again Brickey. Thank you. ❤
Wow this was so well done! You got me good….🥺🥺 As a resident of WDW I’ve always been kind of jealous of the great history that the original has over my home park/parks. Forever grateful for the dreamer and his brother Roy for literally working himself to death to bring the dream to Florida.
Not sure what I could add, but to simply echo what the previous comments say. Amazing tribute, and your hard work is recognized, appreciated, and inspiring. I want to point out the opening announcer said "Auto-topia"! Everyone wants to put in that extra syllable. You weren't the only one!
What a great birthday gift you gave to all us citizens of Disneyland ❤ Thank you! Loved this whole thing and the split screen of then and now… made my eyes leak a little!
So amazing how much of Dland has remained the same since its inception; It's still recognizable. I go to Universal Studios and the terrain is so different that I cant even distinguish where stuff used to be when I was a kid in the 80's
Thank you for This video that shows all of my childhood dreams Frontierland was always my destination then the jungle cruise still going as often as I can showed my daughter the park when she was young and now she goes often . My father did concrete work on Main Street and other locations and now I protect the resort ! It's in my blood
I love your videos of before and after. It's nice to see how far Disneyland has come. It's also fun to see what they use to wear. They should have a day where all the guests dress like they did during the opening of Disneyland.
I may be in the super minority here, not saying I wouldn’t want to experience the park in its opening year with WALT DISNEY himself. But if the average person now would visit back then would be very underwhelmed by what was at the time compared to all the innovations we have today. As much as it’s the same it’s also so different.
Yea right that place has been there. Dude found it is all and did soem remodeling then called it disneyland. That's old world buildings and as you see they destroyed most that was there.
OMG! You and FreshBaked did similar videos. I love your narration and point of view.
Brickey I’m rooting for you. I hope your channel grows and grows and grows. I did enjoy the video. I love your narration!
@@HeyBrickey Got it!
Another fantastic story curated and articulated as only Brickey can. You’re truly one of the best. I believe Walt would be honored. I am grateful.

This brought back childhood memories. Thanks for taking us on the journey!
Between watching you and fresh baked, I enjoy the videos, and this one especially hits my disney feels. Thank you

As exciting as it is to looks into the future of these parks. The history is just as fascinating
What a great way to celebrate Disneyland's birthday 🎉 I love seeing the transitions between today and yesteryear!

Happy Birthday Disneyland!! Thanks Mark!! Great video as always!
Great job combining opening day with today. It might of been built to 5/8 size but our hearts grew 3 sizes today. Thanks for making this video.
Well said, Ed.
This is a magical video that is guaranteed to put a smile on any citizen of Disneyland. This is a particularly special video. Thank you Brickey.

I watch a lot of Disneyland vloggers, but your videos always give me the feels like no one else’s 😊😊😊

Wonderful storytelling and a fantastic tribute to the most magical place. Thanks for doing this ❤
Really well done Brickey! ❤
This hit all the feels for me Brickey. Thankyou for this video celebrating Disneyland's birthday!
Wonderful video, Mark. Your editing and commentary are top notch, bud.
Great job Brickey, I faintly remember driving the autopia when there was no middle rail. Can't imagine not having it now.

Ahhh Brickey you’ve done it again- another gem!! I love your videos- thank you so much!! 💫
Thank you Brickey! Such a heartfelt and artistic tribute ❤️
What a great birthday gift you gave to all us citizens of Disneyland ❤ Thank you! Loved this whole thing and the split screen of then and now… made my eyes leak a little!
Can we all acknowledge how creepy the modern Mickey Flower bed infront of the main street station is… crazy how Walt did it better 68 years ago

Wow Brickey!!
One of your best videos ever! Love the way you tied in the old with now.
Thanks 👊
Aww Brickey!
That one got me straight in the feels.
(Who’s crying)
Well done Brickey! I was a kid again watching that!!! 🤗
I didn’t expect to get emotional watching this. Anyone else?
Epic video! Thank you Brickey for all you do.
Even better the second time around! No one tells a Disneyland story like you do. Many try, but none succeed!
Well Done Bricky! Thank you! ❤
Just Wonderful!❤️
I loved watching this again! ❤
well done Brickey, TY
As per the usual I cried at the end!
great job Brickey
Great editing on this one
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow gr8 video, B. And that arm grab, hug, shuffle thingy at the end was the most awkward moment in Dsny history
Well done 👍 The nostalgia is really incredible and a tribute to WD’s vision and dedication. I don’ think it will ever end 😀
Thank you for this great tribute to Disneyland, what a great way to celebrate this day!
Nice to bring it back around Happy 68th birthday.!!
I love your videos of before and after. It's nice to see how far Disneyland has come. It's also fun to see what they use to wear. They should have a day where all the guests dress like they did during the opening of Disneyland.
Were they really Simpler times or were people just better back then??
This continues to be my most favorite edit. Stoked to have been a part of it! That intro never fails to pound at the heart strings!
So wonderful thanks for sharing
