Someone pointed out that the people in west view know Agatha fought Wanda and it caused them to be free. So even though she’s technically a villain they see her as a hero. And they know she got cursed. So that’s why they played along with her delusions.
@@SethRGrayA few reactors I’ve reacted to didn’t pick up on that when watching the episode. I mean, I couldn’t blame them. It was a quick scene and there’s so much that goes on into episode two when introducing the rest of the cast/coven.
I just noticed something. When Agatha tried to provoke the other witches. She calls each in turn a Coward, fraud, and Disappoinment. This is similar to the Wizard of OZ. Cowardly lion, fake man (Tin Man), and the Scarecrow's dissatisfaction with his intelligence.
I think it's interesting how they need an earth/green witch - who we know is Aubery Plaza's character (she healed Agatha's cut with her saliva), so they get the green-thumbed Sharon. Also they need a blood witch, the child of a witch, and if Joe Locke's character is Billy Maximov then he's a son of a witch. So they will almost have 2 extra witches in the coven. I wonder how that will be used in the future.
what i dont know if anyone else picked up is that even with sharon not being a witch so far, the spell still worked...and spell that can only summon a doorway to the road via a real coven...so sharon being there helped summon the door...
I would never ever have foreseen myself stanning a Marvel show but I am so all about this. I love a witchy fun mystery! And I'm so glad you're liking it too, always a great time watching your takes on shows I love. And you're really good at putting clues together and cracking mysteries too, usually 😃 And I'm really dreading what's going to happen to Sharon. It breaks my heart when someone so innocent gets hurt because of mean people taking advantage of them. The witches know what's at stake, poor lonely Sharon just wanted to party with some nice ladies 😭. Also if Joe is NOT Billy somehow, I'll go insane. We've all been talking about that for 2 years and there are SO many hints.
Finally someone who properly knows Mare of Easttown! And yeah señor Scratchy is her rabbit's name but Nick Scratch is actually her son in the comics! :)
That was great fun! As always, I enjoyed your reaction so much. Kathryn Hahn is an absolute treasure. I really hope Joe Locke's character is Billy because I want Wanda back so badly. She's been my favorite ever since I was a kid.
I'm pretty sure that Teen is saying his name is Billy Kaplin aka Wiccan. He is the reincarnated Billy Maximoff from WandaVision. However, I don't think he knows that he is at this point in the show. We may finally get Mephisto in this show, because I think he's the cause of Wanda's children coming back. We will probably get Tommy (Speed) in the VisionQuest show.
First, love Joe and his American accent. Second, for some reason I don’t think his character is as wide eyed and innocent as he appears. I don’t think he’s Billy.
Definitely, there are moments he decides not to be the meek person he presents as (extorting Potion lady, pushing Agatha when she tries to pretend they didn’t need a 4th recruit( Still could be Billy but a different interpretation of him maybe. New character could work tho
@@sonicsean34 I don’t know as much about the comics as other people, but I think he is more personally connected to Agatha than he’s letting on. It’s only a gut feeling, I have no inside knowledge. 😂😂
@@jcs1025 Yeah I’ve barely read any comics (some of the original Young Avengers mini-series and that brief series with them working with Kid Loki) I do like the concept of Billy and the other young Avengers tho

4:50 - that guy is unaccounted for. the other 2 people, who actually spook her, and get her attention like that - ended up being real - and we know this 'Agnes of Westview' show aspect - only happened the last 3 days - so something, or someone else changed her 'show' - Im thinking this guy - HE is the one who gave her this... 'info' on the Darkhold, that she shouldnt be capable of knowing (unless its like, the last bit of darkhold knowledge in her) - explaining that the darkhold - every last copy - burned up when Wanda destroyed that one. Still putting forward my theory - that Wanda didnt die - again - because the neighbor said it was 3 days ago - that Agnes 'changed' - meaning what - she was that weirdo perfect 'neighbor Agnes' - for the rest of the time? so another idea would be that Wanda - 3 days prior (possibly doing her next movie in those 3 years tho) - died - OR - left the universe of the MCU for another (also for her movie) - which would simply yes as explained, sorta 'cut off' her little simulation from her, leaving this almost - either self-chosen exile of detective land, or someone elses choice for her.
That guy was the "Mail Man" in WandaVision. He delivers Pizza in the real Westview world so the Burning thing could have been about the Pizza he was delivering.

his last name is Kaplan, not Wiccan not Maximoff, he's Billy Kaplan, already existing in that universe since WandaVision happened 3 years ago and he's already 16

Connecting that Agatha and Black Heart used to bone in the very first scene of them together was some quick work😂😂 you would be right though

I can`t wait to see more of Aubrey Plaza playing a Witch in more future episodes.
I think the dead body actually represents the Darkhold.
While I like all the coven I need Sharon to make it to the end and become uber powerful
make sure to watch the end credits... they hide some good stuff in them, and they aren't as "identical" as they appear at first glance
also the "Salem Seven" in the comics are the children of the coven Agatha killed
@@stephendaniels2213In the comics they're Agatha's grandchildren

They are preping for young Avangers so he most likely is 'Wiccon' Billy Kaplan (Reincarnation of Wandas Son) perhaps with Nikis Soul.
Thanks, Derek! 🧙♀ I thoroughly enjoyed these first two.

Show looks to be a lot of fun, first two episodes were. I also loved riff on the Mare of Easttown.
The Salem 7 are Agatha grandchildren by her son, Nicholas Scratch.
If Dio is the "blackheart" from the comics then I'm not sure she counts as a witch. And may play by different rules
I think the teen is Agathas son, Nicholas Sparks.

I think Wanda protected wiccan
She probably did at the end of MoM probably all versions of them and knew Agatha’s could probably get out of her spell after she died
