The funniest part of this series to me as a South African is that when we won the first game all i heard about for a week was that the ref and TMO stole the game and "rugbys only irelands 4th most popular sport" Soon as they win with a last second drop goal all of a sudden its back to ireland is the best in the world and they own SA and blah blah blah
Funny how both sides have a minority of fans that troll, isn't it. In the same way we heard all week that the first win proved SA was the best, people saying our soft Irish players got smashed, 2022 loss was that the ref let Ireland win, WC loss was that SA didn't have a kicker. There are trolls in both sets of fans, but as I'm sure you'll tell me that the majority of SA fans didn't hold the above view, I'm also here to tell you the same is true for Ireland fans after the first test. SA deserved the first win, we deserved the second. Two great tests played out by two top sides.
