These are fire. Bought my first 2 yesterday and hit a green stroud and Richardson. Hangers are indeed bangers
OMG, your boxes were lot better than mine. My 5 boxes were absolute trash...so much so I rather have openned Aboslute
i just opened 3 packs. Got 2 purple waves. nobody decent. but they take up the green wave slot in the pack. if its a veteran, the purple will replace one of the first 3 green wave base slots. if it's a rookie, it's the 4th sloth. The silver slot, and the back green wave insert slot are not affected by the purple. I pulled a CJ Stroud Green wave as the best card. can't complain.
You didn't do too bad. 3 or 4 solid rookie parallels. 😊
Were these bought online? I never find these things on the shelves at my local Walmart or target ever, only the draft pick varieties. Just bought a bunch of Illusion Mega Boxes at my Walmart and came up with a nice combination of desired players and case hit cards that I can trade in.
These were from walmart a few weeks ago. Sold out super quickly

I have been loving the hangers! hit a Zay Flowers and Jordan Addison purple wave /99.
I just got back in the hobby pulled a red wave optic preview,orange lazer,red white blue,and the green wave all strouds🔥
I got absolutely hosed on these on the first batch from Walmart last week. It was absolutely brutal! I have 2.5 cases coming this week and will probably end up trading them closer to the start of the season. Ceiling is high but floor is no bueno.
I will say on a per box average if the floor is 5-10$ back on a $20 product with the lottery chance to hit a multi thousand dollar card is alright in my book
I have zero proof that they put all the numbered stuff in the first wave of hangers, but man did it seem like there were more numbered cards early on in these. Those variations looks sweet! Nice Levis and Rice!

I just ripped 4 of these last night, 2 of my green wave RC were Darius Davis 🤦♂️. But you still get a silver prizm if you hit a purple or gold.

What website do you know to go on to pre order retail products? I always miss out on the pre orders and most boxes go for ridiculous amounts on resale.
there is no place to pre order retail products. its pretty much first come first serve on walmart and target.

its just the complete set. good for collectors but not for people who want to chase rare cards

That was a fun retail rip Andy! I don't mind retail either for the same reasons that you don't know what you're going to hit. I'm not a big basketball guy but today I bought a 22-23 donruss fat pack for $10 and hit an auto (maybe $10 value), green laser, red laser /50, and a Luka bomb squad. Paid for the pack so it was worth it!
Im not a big basketball guy either but i like opening products occasionally! Prizm monopoly is going to be my next rip for that

My opinion on best odds for your $$ from all I've seen would be-
1-Value packs
2-Sealed retail pack boxes
3-Hanger Boxes
Megas/blasters are a toss up for last.
I don't go by what I get I go by the overall average of all I've watched.
These may have a high "ceiling" as they say, but a low bottom too.
value packs have a higher floor but a much lower ceiling. I prefer the chase so i gravitate towards the hangers

You’re a little off on the price. With tax these are 23 and change depending where you live. So 12 boxes would be closer to $280. Just saying.
they retail for $20. that is the only consistency in price I am not going to factor in every states different sales tax. for me its 5% so its only $12
