- We share our experience in purchasing a multicab and the issues it gave us. We luckily dealt with a dealer that was understanding and was willing to work with us. Watch the video on the end results what it took to return the unit.

I bought multicab and have it for 6yrs and still fine we even give it away to a church and until now its still alive and kickin just need the Lord's guidance in everything you do..
Me too my srcum is 15 yrs now and still very good...

Yeah…I agree…They hack these things together,after being transported cut up in a cargo container. The fit and quality is something I have always noticed was sub standard. Big waste of money!
Did you drive it above 110kph?? if so expect it to overheat! it's a freaking 660cc engine!
Multicabs are designed to be driven regularly on speeds below 90kph!
I've drove one of these 660cc Suzuki Every and other Kei Cars in Japan, we never drove them above 90kph!
I've driven in Tokyo for 5 years, that's an unspoken rule don't drive the Kei Cars, Kei Vans and Kei trucks above 90kph
to avoid overheating, these vehicles are made for city driving,
also you are buying a second hand vehicle, it is wise not to put it to the limit on your first test!
you should have taken it to a repair shop who knows how to deal with Suzukis to check for parts
that are soon needing replacement!

Why don't they just ship multicabs without disassembling? Is there a tax, fee or import duty issue?
our multicab was not only surplus and assembled but we bought it as Used, we've use it as a school bus for more than 15yrs,(mon-fri 5am to 8pm) another 3yrs for daily deliveries. Maybe you got a lemon unit or a lemon mechanic 😁
the guy expects a multicab to function like a hilux. absolutely ridiculous video for that matter alone this should be taken down as it is misleading.

Great video. My 4x4 is being built as we speak. I'm expecting it to drive more like an ATV/UTV than a car. I'll go through it with a fine tooth comb.
If you don't want a head ache? Buy brand new if you can afford no problem until 10 years
Check everything of the car drive the car not only on a parking lot. Test the car on the highway. Check all before you buy!! The multicaps are made of junk.

My father bought a multicab and overheats. He got himself burnt. Multicab is a money pit.

that's a secondhand car. judging by the looks of it, it looks like a late 90s version of the suzuki carry? if you want to buy a multicab buy a brand new one they are relatively cheap( well in terms of bnew cars that is) it is WAY better than and would last longer. if you want just a cheap car to go around i suggest just buy an owner jeep.

How fi is better than carboretor ones.
Mahal jan sir 240-280k,buti pa bumili ka nlng manual.Kahit hindi new model,meron 90 - 170+ madalas lang walang aircon kailangan ikaw magpaayos pero running condition.Problema lang tlaga sa mga secondhand kung hindi ka marunong mag troubleshoot magastos tlaga.At kpag bibili ka magsama ka mechaniko para macheck engine kung ok pa ba.

20 years plus na multicab namin kumakayod parin kayang kaya parin mag karga 4 drums ng tubig
parang yung sa tiyuhin ko lang po.. 20+ nagkakarga pa yun nang niyog at kung ano2x mabigat. 💪 sa akin 8 years po mini van scrum cat eye.

Latest multicab ang sakin..mabilis malakas pang humatak ..4wD PA ..5 speed.

Rule of a thumb my standard.everytime you buy used motor vehicle.open fix the brakes.top overhaul,one time fix or called it preventive maintenance.dont used right away.never buy automatic transmission.for used vehicle.

go get an experienced mechanic bring along with you before owning one for preventive approach,
you can check essential things like,
tire, lights, suspension, brakes system, engine oil, radiator, etc.

multicab ko 8 years na. kayang kaya long drive! halos wala hinto2x pa yon. hinto lang pag naiihi.. battery, Twice palang ako mag palit. yung last batt umabot 4 years and 8 months! ngayon lang ako magpalit. no overheat. basta pag bumili mag dala nang expert mechanic! mabuti nalang mga expert ang mga pinsan at tiyuhin ko both diesel and gasoline. Pero pag mayaman ka e di bili ka nang Wrangler.. or yung mas mahal pa. 👌

Botbot2 nimo hahahah akong multicab scrum minivan ayy 12 years na pero katkat panig bukid fully loaded sa ang sakay. Dili pajud ni 4x4. Pero naay aircon❤️. Depende rana sa mikaniko basta maau. Pero kung bangga ka dali rajud na guba multicab nimo hahahaha.

Buying one you need to bring with you a mechanic to help you check the car
The mechanic will always say your chosen cab is fine even if he knows it's not. This is to make sure he will always have a job every time the cab malfunctions.
The dishonesty of almost everyone in the Philippines is disgusting. Everyone is opportunistic in the name of the peso.

natatawa ako sa mga negative comments saka sa vlogger na ito. kung gusto ng buyer wala problema ang mga unit na multicab. bumili kayo ng brandnew. wala naman sapilitan. ngaun kaya meron surplus na unit kasi para lang sa mga pilipino na kkaunti lang ang budget na wala pambili ng brandnew. kaya nga surplus kasi second hand. ngaun magsama ka ng mekaniko mo para madesisyunan mo kung ok sa iyo ang surplus. normal lang sa mga surplus meron lilitaw na problema. kasi ndi naten alam ano masisira sa mga secondhand. wag niyo pagdamutan bumili mga pilipino wala pambili ng brandnew. ndi kayo pinipilit. saka ini explain ng seller ang mga unit bago niyo bilhin. kayo pa rin magde desisyon. ugali ng iilan pinoy hilaiin pababa imbes na tulungan umangat mga negosyo sa pinas. tsik tsik.

why even get a multicab van? for around the same price you can get a used 1st gen toyota vios sedan.
multicabs can carry more people than a vios
oil sludge will cost you 10x more money than a friggin $200 mutlicab transmission replacement

Well I think you still didn't know, about the multicab engine, number 1 Yan bossing pangangalaga sa makina, maliban lng Kung repo or 2nd hand na tlgang Luma na, na sayo problema
I think you didn't plan well as to what type of vehicle would suit your purpose or intents. Surplus multicabs are not designed for high-speed driving and long-distance travelling because they are only 600cc in displacement. However, these small vehicles are tested useful by many ordinary folks in their practical daily deliveries and short-distance shuttling, that, according to some guys who own one, they have been using it for more than a decade and still runs well as it is properly maintained. Perhaps you are just disappointed for expecting too much from your first purchase of this kind of surplus vehicle that you only expressed your personal sentiments on this video.
May your viewers consider your personal opinion as a mere personal viewpoint and not a bitterly offensive statement agaisnt all multicab owners and sellers. May God's peace be in us!

Kamatis lang alam ko. Xpander nga kinuha ko. Masmaganda at masdependable. I don’t recommend a multicab.

Your advise is valid, as it is based on your experience. But please, kabayan, cut the stateside accent, it doesn't make your advise believable. Rather, it's pretentious and or annoying for Pinoys to hear you speak to us in that tone and vocabulary. Your viewers are mostly Pinoys too, and most Balikbayans speak Filipino or Tagalog. So it's better if you speak in Taglish instead.
Plus by the way you speak, Im guessing youre not a mechanic, so it further chips off the validity of your advise to those who came here for technical advise. It makes the title of your vid is too strong in contrast to the content you just presented.
My impression of the vid is that it is more of a testimony rather than an informative, but people kinda clicked on your vid, expecting a lot more information as to why not to buy a Multicab in general, but all we got from it just felt like a short rant.

If your business is based on selling inferior product then you don’t need me to sira your negosyo. I’m here to inform and I wonder how many other people out there that had the same experience but too embarrassed to admit it. I was told by many friends and relatives not to buy one but I didn’t listen.
@@kabalikbayan8221 then that is your problem.. in the first place all multicabs are reconditioned, so you need to have a mechanic to check because the product itself doesn't have any warranties. Just like in the USA if you're going to buy a secondhand vehicle, you have to test drive it and bring a mechanic to check, so you won't get sold a lemon...
I don't think they sell inferior products, it is up to the buyer to be pro active to make sure all the safeguards are there before buying second hand/reconditioned products. Cheers!

basura na ng japan pero kung marunong kang mag alaga pwede pang mapa kinabangan... reliable naman ang multicab, nasa pag drdrive lang yan at pag aalaga... daming multicab na ginagamit ang mga tao pang karga to and from the city... importante lang request ka ng to be assembled, then check with a mechanic...
