this is the class for people who want to sit at the back and be commander/tactician while letting their pawns do all the work... not for everyone but some people will enjoy it im sure... this is essentially the "pet" class in dragons dogma... relying on your pawns instead of yourself.
I really hope they start showcasing other classes I love trickster it looks cool but I wanna see the other vocations and maybe the 2 vocations that make trickster.
3 Sorcerers with high end spells, 1 trickster, let the chaos begin.
YEEEES
This class makes a lot of sense and I'm very happy they included it, since the games core mechanic is the Pawn System, buffing your pawns is something I personally would want to do.
I assume they tweaked the the A.I. enough for Pawns to not end up completely useless if raised wrong. My main pawn in the first game was so amazing, that at some point I worked more on protecting him than fighting myself, just so he had more opportunities to fight freely.
Capcom introduced npc followers on the latest expansion of their Monster Hunter series, their AI is amazing , however , it could be argued as their stats are miniscule compared to the player they made a very smart ai to compensate, and since in dragons dogma pawns are equal to the arisen they may be intentionally made a tad bit stupider .
This vocation will be the go to for exploration for sure
So, we now know that there are at least 6 vocation colors.
Red, yellow, blue, green, pink and purple.
Assuming all of them get advanced classes and every possible hybrid class, that makes 27 vocations.
I have trouble believing there would possibly be that many classes but I won't complain if there are.
I will bê playing this class 100% and I hope to see poison/sleep/perrification damage
Calling it "passive" might be a bit misleading- It seems Trickster actually requires much more thought in their approach to combat to make use of terrain, movement and position. I guess, it is an indirect approach or rather the style might be "proactive" as it requires you anticipate the behaviour of your enemies as they fall into your traps.
Passive in the sense that you're not dealing direct damage is what I was going for, but yes I agree with the rest.
Actually respect a different class style. Let's see how it plays out.
I would love to see how boss battles are won with this vocation
I bet the upgrades of the skills add poison and sleep as effects.
Tomorrow we'll finally see the Sphinx according to Mitchell from IGN (the guy who did the recording of the footage).
That long cast time still look shorter than any of the long spells in the first game.
Fun fact: It's said the original idea was for the arisen to be unable to fight and rely on their pawns alone for combat, before they disregarded the idea because people would find that too boring. Looks like this class is a throwback to that idea.
The Highlight mentioned there are some stealth/sneaking missions, Illusory Divide and Espial Aura will be fantastic at scouting and hiding.
Something that makes me like the utility-style of combat and tools the Trickster has, making it versatile in all types of content.
I think you’re nailing the two skills that makes the Trickster pretty powerful: Dragon’s Delusion + Aromatic Rally will be damn strong.
A Sorcerer + 2 Warrior Pawns will be pretty strong, especially since the Trickster can easily ground flying enemies with Dragon’s Delusion.
Sleep debilitation is strong for a support class and the different way the trickster may apply it sleep vape baby xD
Going to be a first play through class for me. So tired of hack and slash rpgs, finally a vocation to spice things up.
Vape chads get in here
very good video
Not as cool as Mystic Spearhand. Said it. 🚫🧢
You mean the stand user vocation?
You're right. It's even cooler ;)

@@finbharasa7777 Yessiiiiir
@@Joyapp i’M A mAgIK sMoKe UsER lol
If you don't want fights to feel PERSONAL, this is the vocation for you!
This is Battlefield 4's commander.
Finel battle with Gregori😂😂😂😂 you mean the halfway point😂😂
Shhhh ;)
Are Hybrid vocations still not available to pawns? Story wise it wouldn't make a lot of sense, considering one of the endings of DD 1.
Hybrid vocations are still Arisen exclusive
honestly i like it its very unique i just wish u could attack your enemy
We don’t know yet
you attack them with illusions
This game needs a coop mod man. Playing with a buddy will make this kind of vocation soooooo much cooler.
It sucks lol
Your mom?
Be nice son@@omensoffate
I might play as the trickster but if I don’t I’ll have my pawns as one. All in all I’m looking super forward to this game
It's a hybrid vocation meaning exclusive to the Arisen, so it's either on you or not at all
Yep unfortunately i wish pawns could in this game but the first game had charm to it so will this game
Bruh just imagine a dragon possessing your pawn while its got that damage buff! YOU'RE ARE DONE! LMAO
That would be insane if it retains the buff lolol
