These two have incredible chemistry and I want these actors to do a rom-com together in the future. Possibly a tv adaptation of Romiette and Julio.
I loved this scene. One of my favorites from season 2. I’m glad that the writers at least mentioned Mia’s anger at Victor while also letting her be supportive.
Actually, I think Mia's wrong! She IS Allowed to be mad. She also isn't. Sure Victor was questioning his sexuality but the kiss was on Victor. Mia still CAN support him and she can forgive him but she can just tell Victor he needs time to process it all!
One of the best scenes in season 2. I love that both Victor and Mia have come to understand each other and know that they can still be best friends.
Mia is ICONIC and deserves to be happy♥️
As a gay guy Victors "apology" to Mia is something I have a big problem with. In season 1 ppl didn't like the repeating trope of "someone comes out at the expense of someone else" I understood their dislike but I liked it in the show bc it is realistic and this show is doing for a more realistic approach, so I thought they would make the apology good but I didn't like it at all. So Victor says sorry and Mia says "I feel like I'm not allowed to be mad at you bc coming out is the most important thing you've ever done". What's upsetting isn't that Victor dated Mia but that he cheated on her by kissing Benji and then the show not only excuses it with "he was coming out" but it also justifies what Victor did. Then it goes one step further by making the victim Mia, say they're not allowed to feel upset which is nonsense. The fact that ur going through something in this case figuring out ur sexuality doesn't give u a free pass when u hurt someone. The writers should have let Mia tell Victor how upset she is bc she is most definitely allowed to feel that way and they should've had Victor acknowledge her feelings and let her know she should feel angry and done a better job taking accountability
yep, I somewhat agree, I definitely felt Mia should be able to be upset because he cheated (he may have been gay, but that doesn't excuse that he cheated on her). Obviously he shouldn't apologise for being gay, but maybe for cheating on her??
I'm not going to argue with your points, but you're ignoring 2 huge factors: 1) Family pressure .... and 2) Societal pressure. Both can be extreme depending on where one lives, goes to school, works, or even attempt to try leisure time. And there is even more underlying pressure from the source that forces themselves into BOTH families and societies in general --- and that is simply, *"religion"* and that pressure can be even heavier than either/both families and societies. "Religions" will stop at *nothing* to achieve their 2 primary goals: 1) Getting monies (donations, etc) and 2) *Demanding control* of how you/they/everyone *behave.*
* "religion" today is NOT religion by dictionary definition, but is in actuality and in reality, *Socio-Political Ideology [SPI].*

I didnt like mia telling victor she feels like she its not allowed to be mad to victor, she shouldnt be forced to forgive someone that cheat on her
I think she said that because although he cheated on her, she forgave him because she cares about him and that she's proud of him. I think that's what she means
