Sciences Po Seen Through the Eyes of Our Chinese Students

As the third largest international cohort, Chinese students at Sciences Po enjoy the benefits of our strong partnerships with universities in China. We are fortunate to have their help in promoting our research in Beijing, we have a permanent delegation there tasked with student exchange and recruitment, among others.

He Zhang, who took up an undergraduate program in Le Havre was impressed with our prestige. He links the collaborative skills he developed at Sciences Po with the quality of his teamwork in investment banking analysis. His colleague in Le Havre, Jia Liu, who enrolled in the Europe Asia programme, praises us for the variety of subjects we offer.

Moving on to our graduate programs held on the Paris campus, our very own Ren Yifang speaks highly of the connections Sciences Po maintains with consultants and professors from companies like Boston Consulting Group and Mckinsey. Currently working for KPMG, Ms. Yifang recalls the liveliness of Paris, with romance in the air and art around every corner.

Wang Yakun pursued her goal of working in online advertising and big data analysis by taking up a position for L'Oréal in the field of marketing consultancy. She recalls the cultural activities Sciences Po students benefit from, some of which she helped facilitate as a member of a student organization.

After receiving his cum laude master's degree in Public Affairs, Zhao Chen took his passion for policy making and research one step further in his work for the city of Beijing. He describes his admiration of the cultural diversity and the everyday exchanges he had with people from all walks of life.

Finally, Doctoral student Liu Kaixuan speaks of the openness and the heritage of the country and its people, while alumnus Xiang Li tells of her appreciation of solid methodology and the open-mindedness which Sciences Po has instilled in her.
