His Mom brought him in originally because of some colic and reflux issues that he had been having. As
this started to clear up, we began to focus on his severe distaste for his car seat. On closer inspection, his
neck rotation was limited one way and one of his little developing anterior neck muscles was very tight
and locking his head down. Chiropractic care and soft tissue manipulation has been a huge help for all of
his (and mostly his mom’s) complaints.
Dr. Matt has been certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to work with
infants and toddlers. There is NO popping! Just a gentle force to move those newly forming bones and

My daughter is now 26 yrs old. I started her chiropractic adjustments during infancy. No ear infections, no childhood illnesses, through cheerleading. She is still healthy.

I worked at a daycare center in the 80's. One of the moms took their babies to a chiropractor. She swore by it!! Ran into her when her daughter was in her teens. She had developed major shoulder & neck problems! Was 90!% sure it happened from the chiropractor!

Trusting a chiro in the 80s is different compared to today. More knowledge, less crazies. You have to find the right one just like how you have to find the right doctors.

Yes and very beneficial when done by a credible chiropractor.
I wouldn't imagine any GP, physio or orthopaedic surgeon advising any bone manipulation/pressure on soft bones of a baby. Very risky!!

I don’t think babies need regular chiropractic care like he suggested. They’re not doing anything really other than sleeping. Bones are still soft. But i can see needing to massage the baby.

It’s good for babies with scoliosis as long as you go to a reputable child friendly chiropractor this can be really helpful. Speaking from actual experience of children with spinal bifida this kind of gentle adjustment does help and goes along way to improve pain and nerve stress as well as helping sleep.
for infants, chiropractors have a different and far gentler approach. Often time, the manipulations may only involve a gentle massage that goes unnoticed by the baby.
That’s what so many of these commenters don’t understand. They don’t adjust babies like adults.

Babies aren't fully developed yet so i wouldn't recommend getting a baby set as their bones are developed.

There are way to treat without drugs or pseudoscience.
If you go to a Chiropractor. It 100% works. And then you don have to take drugs. Absolutely recommend it. The key is to go to a chiropractor that requires to do an x-ray or mir of your back before they will touch you. That's how I have found good ones before.

Really, then you should have been on the gang of our family taking turns packing around my screaming colicky baby for three no o this. Then found a chiropractor for babies.
In just that fast after the minor tiny adjustment she fell asleep four straight hours for the very first time and her colic was over.

Knoxville is a beautiful place but dont ever take your baby to a chiropractor. Chiropractic is recognized as pseudoscience.
How is it psuedoscience? The vertebrae can go out of place and gentle external correction along with physical therapy has been proven beneficial. Would you rather have surgery and take painkillers?
@danielforella9072 The external correction can be performed on therapy alone. Afterwards continued therapy will help with the healing. Chiropractic does nothing that can't be done in physical therapy. Sometimes it does nothing at all. Sometimes it's even harmful. I'll get surgery and drugs if it's the better option.
I had a slipped disc once and I only went to the chiropractor because my mother wouldn't leave me alone about it. It did nothing. I finally got to get an epidural after fighting my way through the system. Then the pain finally stopped.
Chiropractic did nothing. Medicine did. Chiropractic isn't recognized by the medical community.
