Could you have saved the 1 Trip in your first roll too? ie: is it possible to unlock two locks in one roll? And if need be.. to get like a 5 L, T or F, I assume you have to add multiple dice? (the tricky part with this though.. is if you can use two dice to add up and unlock the lock. why wouldn't you be able to use multiple dice to unlock two locks in one go.. (assuming my first question is a no)? Thanks for the video!
I'm confused. Is a die exhausted in each roll regardless of whether or not it is used? Say I get no L for the lever roll. Do I get to roll all again or is one die lost?
Once you use a die to unlock a lock, it's exhausted. I thought that was pretty clear? The first lever die was enhanced with the +1, which if you look at the description of the +1 die it does not exhaust the die when used to unlock a lock.
@@CamP244 if you look at 3:10 he rolled the dice already. He didn't get the 3 force he needed in that roll, so he's using the reroll power to reroll one die in a last attempt to get the 3 force. The reroll power doesn't let you reroll all dice you still haven't used.
I don't think you're understand the technicality here. At 3:40 had he rolled a 2F on the Force die and another re-roll on the Intuition die, although not enough to fully open the lock, he could have applied the 2F from the Force die roll to the last lock and then re-rolled the Trip die since it has a 2F face and had not yet been applied to a lock. If successfully re-rolled it would have given him a total of 4F to unlock the last lock. Instead of exhausting the Trip die he should have just left it in play. At least, that's how I would play it.
@ccccccccpppppppp I don't know if you're actually watching the video or not because he rolled a 3 trip at 3:40, not a 2 force. If you meant when he rolled at 3:10, both dice showed 3 trip. I think the 2F you're seeing is the die face on its side, not the face on its top. You're getting confused by misreading the die face, unfortunately.
I think picking an actual lock would be easier to do than understanding this system!
3:36 why did you exhaust that one die? It wasn't used.
I think this may be the only mistake in the video.
thank you! I just wasn't able to wrap my head around lock-picking
What happened to video #15?
Thx for the video. It's only too bad that the glare from the lighting and the card back texture are not a good combination!

On the final card the intuition dice prevents the dice from being exhausted, and it wasn't used... So would it not be rolled again?
Only if it is applied to the lock, which it isn't. He didn't get a high enough Force on the available dice during that roll.

No you only exhaust a die when it is used for picking a lock (except when using the +1 from the bonus die)
I'm confused, why was the trip die exhausted??

Crystal...except for the fact he never applies the Trip Die (Yellow) to a lock, he just exhausts it at 3:38 without explanation...thus my question.

I wonder where is 15#
Why is the card so horrible and difficult to see in the video?
