True! But did you know Italians should get some credit for the change that happened? Bertelli/Prada got tired of rules trickery and both financed and gave technical resources to ETNZ in 2015 when Kiwis were almost broke. The only thing Prada asked for was to be given priority as challenger if Kiwis won. So it was a combination of both ETNZ and Prada who we should thank for the giant improvement of the competition.
I'm American, but I have to say Luna Rosa has the most beautiful boat. If form follows function (i.e. fast), Luna Rosa will win the American's Cup.

That's a pretty big statement (I'm telling you as an Italian myself). I hope you're right about that and thank you for recognizing the winner of the beauty consest. Just one thing, "roSa" translates to "pink", "roSSa" to "red".
The US had a fast boat last time , if they don't wreck it this time it looks like a contender again imo . I love what the kiwis have done with the event , it's reaching further into society and blowing away previous designs
The difference in height between the old foil and the new one is quite evident. With the new one the boat is very low but still very stable on the surface of the water. This video is interesting because it shows how much potential this boat has, which is a lot!

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be very interesting and instructive to be able to use the split screen editing in order to compare and see the differences at least between Luna Rossa, ETNZ, Patriot and INEOS Britannia while performing the same type of maneuver or sailing in the same direction.

The more I watch these incredible boats, the more I imagine that the next steps will be to make the stabilisers as wide as seagulls's wings for the boats to become a true flying machines.

I understand they bought the Kiwi design, so we may have already seen what it will look like.
There’s no way it’s the same as the kiwi boat, they bought a design package from them so it’s probably related to their boat from the last cup
@@Mickeysternum245 This make sense because Reutai won last Acup, was fasted. Every team looked at Reutai concept for the new boat, this is normal and intelligent.

I think the opposite, kiwis have to be happy that their design match LR!
Their boats are a lot more similar than many people care to admit.
Because they are both based on Te Rehutai which won the last cup easily… makes sense
This is not sail. It’s just a kind of race which has nothing to do with sail.
