I havent experiences a flash, but on my 25th birthday, October 31st (halloween woohoo), I was looking at some photos my partner took of me that evening. I was just sitting on the sofa and wanted a photo of me about to enjoy some cake, he quickly took about 5 photos. Later I was looking through them to share them with my family when I noticed in the photos a bright blue orb, in each photo, but in a slightly different place. It was behind me, and clearly was in motion because the photos were taken without a long pause in between yet it had moved around behind me. The T.V was paused, no flash was used, we live on the top floor of an apartment building (no lights from outside were coming in). Really strange.
!!!The solution to Joe's blue flash, is to turn off his electricity by the main switch and record the night with no electricity flowing through the house, s that if the blue light appears, you know that it's not the lights within your house!!!

I think this is bs, but joe could think that the ghost is using the energy of the electricity to communicate. Like how ghosts flicker lights on and off in films

The flash seems to be coming from the main LED bulbs not the LED strips , the blue light is caused by a small current surge in the bulb causing the phosphor powder in the bulb to shift colors from a cool white to a blue , make sure Joe sees this
Also if you watch closely the massive waffling sign you can see that the blue comes on before the pink and if it was to suddenly flash all you would see was the blue , furthermore its a darker shade of blue at first and then it gets lighter

Those LED lights CAN still go off without any cable connecting to them. I have some LED's as well, and when turned off, you can tap the LED with your fingers and the light will still go off. Theo is right.

i love the discussions that they do but i have to say i think they should bring back answering more of peoples weird emails
My mates told me to come here and check this out (I’m an electrical engineer). Bar my stupid UA-cam name from when I was a kid - I may have a theory to the light flashing occurrences.
Voltage for neon is at minimal 90 volts and most neons and any output with that much voltage being turned on for a long time could have “leakage” where by there is still voltage within the cable and/or transformer when the neon is turned on for a long amount of time.
This doesn’t explain why Joe hadn’t seen the logo turn on when he was actually in the room. This could possibly be photo bleaching (google that), where in the corner of his eye (being the logo) had went off and the “orbit” point is seen in a different location regenerating up the pigment because of the overexposure, you see a less intense spot, so you therefore see a dark spot. It's worth noting actually that the retina is less active when light shines on it than in the dark. It's in fact deactivated by light rather than activated by light. It's rather paradoxical.

i like this because it proves a point that there isn’t a scientific fact to discredit it as it’s all theory’s like i said if u google it and look on reddit for the amount of people asking about this , i’ve never experienced something like that but others have there’s anomaly’s some people experience these weird lights and people like me
never have experienced it so i would like to say that i think ghosts shouldn’t be ruled out as when somethings unplugged i dont get how it could
produce enough energy to flash up like that and a few times for it too happen aswell seems highly unlikely electricians view is a good view to have but it is only another theory because no one can be so sure so when u see other comments saying how it’s impossible and not likely shouldnt rule it out as in my eyes it’s dangerous to create something that still produces energy after unplugged like led lights something that needs a constant power source could cause fires and very dangerous why make something like that , but like i said none of us truly know so i am not ruling out either but every single comment is just a theory so i think it’s irresponsible and idiotic to say it’s 100% stored energy fucking about making it light up and the fact your an electrician and say theory makes me happy as every other person thinks they got it all worked out but everything is rationalisation or theory’s but it does seem very strange how they keep lighting up 😂

Lights can flicker with no energy source, Christmas lights which have been unplugged can regularly cause house fires from flashing on and off in attics etc!
Yeah they can store energy in the circuits and wires within them when turned off and unplugged, newer lights do this less though which is why their fire safety is better. It's quite likely a dodgy electrics or possibly plug, And because its probably quite a high yield power source and neon and LED/christmas lights tend to be cheaper and less advanced in terms of having breakers and things to stop that, most house lighting will have that which is why he wouldnt experience his actual lights causing problems. The bear is weird but I can't trust a product like that they could easily set it to go off randomly every 1-9 hours or something. Hate to be a pessimist and there is possibility of some sort of spirits but not in this case I dont think personally.

@@Dylan-eg6rk LED lights are known to have small energy stores where there has been dodgy wiring so it really wouldn’t surprise me, especially considering the hour and a half time difference between flashes, like it’s a perfectly viable possibility. The bear is a different matter but it’s entirely plausible that it is just quite old/ had low battery

@@gilanes I agree, spirits and other supernatural beliefs just sound like a copout answer too easily label things that are hard for us too explain. The truth could be even more mystifying and above are capacity for understanding but usually there is a very logical explanation
What annoyed me was that while Theo was trying to stay as open-minded as possible from his perspective, Joe wouldn’t budge at all and just got frustrated when there was any counter argument. Joe’s belief of it being a spirit has no more creditability to it than Theo saying there could be a logical explanation.

That footage is bloody weird. I would like to see a full investigation into it, maybe even call an electrician round to try and debunk it just being the Wafflin’ lights flashing? It might be worth having Theo and Luke there as well for Theo’s sceptical take on it. Even if it does turn out to be dodgy electrics, I’d love to see you do more haunted videos.
