The genuine love you have for Winnie really shows in all the care you take with her! She's spoiled well (not rotten).

I just love how she looks at you... Soooooooooooo cute!!
Winnie is so lucky to have someone who loves her so, so much.
You can tell she adores you too.
    Thanks for sharing, Jen!

Fantastic job Jen. You are so natural on camera and you put us all at ease. Wonderful information - can't wait to see the rest. Winnie is so lucky to be your baby. In case I haven't said it before - thank you for being so open with us and letting us into your life. You have helped me so much and I'm sure many others feel the same way.

Love your video. Convex shears refer to the edge of the blade not the tip. What you are looking for is called blunt tipped. I love your grooming station! I'm super envious

I have three Lhasa Apsos in full coat (I did have four until recently!) and I too love Crown Royale products. I dilute my shampoo and conditioner 14:1 and 20:1 respectively as directed on the bottles. They are the nicest smelling dog grooming products of all.
Just adore Winnie and love the way she lets you do anything with her. Mine all try to jump off the table etc and have the bands out of their hair or at least well messed up within minutes of having them done LOL.

I have crown royal products in my shop for dogs who have problem coats that need more of a pick-me-up, and I love it! I use my doub duck shears all the time, I love the curved stop style and use them daily for feet and ears. My favorite shears though are by Kenchii

Thank you so much for your videos. Ive watched a lot of them and your series is real and you are very clear with your descriptions, especially the feet and nail areas... hard to do items. I agree with you 100% on puttting the money into good sizzors. These items make the work easier and last forever.
I use hair poly hair ties by scunci, they come in colored and clear and are found in Wallgreens, CVS etc in the girls hair stuff area. Many for a few bucks, and little or no hair damage.

Awe she is so sweet! I can see you pay a lot of attention to your little Winnie and of course she deserves it!:) I wish u could see the condition my dog is in!! BAD grooming so NOW I'm trying to teach myself how to groom him. He has had one horrific butch job, he's been hurt and NOW he's AFRAID of the groomers! Funny he has no issue with the vet who actually does have to cause a little pain as in shots etc & he loves his vet! So frustrated. Your videos R fantastic!! Thnks!

another very informative video Jen.. i send Max out to the groomers to get trimmed ( all he gets done are his nails, feet and bottom) I bathe him etc before he goes - he loves his bath and i don't want that to stop ...thinking i may start to groom him depending on how hard/easy it looks as your series continues
    thanks again,

Hello from Tropical Darwin at the top of Australia. I think your videos are fantastic. Thank you. I had two Shih Tzus for 15years so I can relate. I said no more BUT , along came a Lost Lhasa Apso ( found her home then the owner gave her to me) and a homeless chihuaua, both very very different to tzu's in nature...... If only your vids. had been around then .......

This was fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing such great info. I'm excited for the grooming series. Debating whether or not I can afford the scissors, since I don't groom my dog, but do maintain her privates. :) Would love to see a Winnie's treats/food/feeding video? Hope it's not to presumptuous to ask. Thanks again!

All the money you've spent on your grooming tools is still honestly much better than spending $50+ a month on a groomer which is what I have done for my little girl, she's 10 now and I started trying to groom her myself but its hard bec she doesn't stay still since I havent done it all her life. You have done amazing with Winnie and her training and grooming!

Jen, What is the grooming mat like? Iv not found anything like it in the UK, but they do do microfibre shower/bathroom mats like that.
Id just like you to know, Iv got lots more grooming equipment for my dog, following your example. Iv yet to get the triangular brush but I have seen them here. Iv got a comb but may need to get another. Iv got about 5 new pieces.
Thank you so much from my dog and me, we're loving your series and we are both benefiting from your wonderful videos.

    Hello Miss Jen and Winnie:
I own a little 8 month old shih-tzu "Yue Ying". I have never owned a shih-tzu before, so I thank you for all the wonderful info you've posted on grooming... Now I do have a question and hopefully you can help me... How do I effectively remove set in tear stains?? So far I've tried "Crystal Eyes" and "Martha Stewart Tear Stain Remover" and nothing. I've done both products for two weeks and nothing... Any suggestions??

And guys dont spend money on shears in fact the more high quality the shears are the more dangerous ! High quality shears are very sharp and if you miss you wont get a second chance with little cheaper shears if you miss you wont cut the skin ^.^ for exemple high quality poodle shears could cut like butter on your dog skin >.< sorry just dont want a doggy to get hurt

The coats differ because of their diet, genetics and overall immune health. Dogs who are fed a lot of processed foods tend to be... umm, how should I put this... lifeless.
As opposed to a dog who's fed real foods. If you dog is fed a good diet, you shouldn't need to do all what you do. I'd love to see this petite sweet thing ripping into a RMB, lol
Brush is a little dirty? lol and one every year and one slicker brush lasts you 6 months?!? OMG, Are you kidding me, no way! Wow, I bought a $4 one at it's been in my hot little hands for 6 years and I've used this one on the 5 puppies and our new boy for the past year, so I guess your $36 brush must be good because her coat looks so good, right. lol GFM
What's in the products, natural ingredients?
"Show Off" ..What are the ingredients?
Our dogs teeth get cleaned every day which they don't use any toothbrushes or toxic tooth pastes.
Shampoo; biotin is supposed to thicken hair, so I guess that's a must. Allantoin is a chemical which your dog doesn't need.
Lightened shampoo? What are the ingredients to that I wonder.
Try making her some treats, this way you know whats in them. Our lot love jerky, easy to make and all natural. Thanks for your vid

  • @1master6
    @1master6 6 років тому

All of those products have a ton of Chemicals! You are spending way to much on her brushes for them to fall apart that quickly.
