Awesome work! The most I've been able to string together is a 15 hit combo so I was genuinely impressed to see a 16, 17 hit combo.

+AliveBy7 People don't understand that this game was designed to bring new players into playing Street Fighter. if a new player had to think about a 35 hit combo with 9 of the hits being 1 frame links, the player would drop the game because of the execution to perform the combos is too difficult.
That is why the combo system in Street Fighter 5 is short and easy for new players to understand.
It's not even the main problem to the game.

+Hentai Senpai Altho i agree with you i have to add that thereis no 35 hit 9 1frame link combo in sf 4 either or atleast no practical one (and you could still just plink the 1framers). this is still the first incarnation of sfv however and im fairly confident that future updates will add many new combo possibilities. its been the same way with sf4

A pretty neat thing that I found with Ken that I didn't see in this video is on a crush counter on an airborne opponent at a certain height with cr.hp, you can cancel into hard tatsu and get just two hits. It leaves them in the spinning juggle state and they fall really slow. After that you can get the second and third hits of fierce dp, or you can cancel it into v-trigger and get another fierce dp, ex dp, ex tatsu, or super. Super isn't worth it, but EX tatsu gets you like 25 extra damage over fierce dp, more stun, and makes the combo a corner to corner punish. It isn't optimal, but it's a nice little balance of practicality and swag.
ken is like a mix of sf3+ki with the canceable special vtrigger

+leon leon sf5 isn't a heavy combo fighter its more of a fundamental, footsie game. Knowing combos really isn't too much of a big deal because they're very short and limited compare to sf4.
sf5 in my opinion is more casual than sf4, just see how easy to trigger these combos

Hey guys im new to Street Fighter, these combos looked hard at first but after about 10 minutes in training mode It was easy as fuck.

+D4Gamers They're not difficult my dude, because of the combo buffer. Desk is amazing for finding some of these weird combos, and the difficulty of the actual game comes from the neutral, homeboy.

Samflaful sf4 had a lot of 1 frame combos but it's been said that sf5 has a limit of 3 frame combos

SFV has a three frame combo buffer. It means that while their are still one frame links, you have extra time before the link where doing the input will still work as perfect timing. Combo timing in general in this game is super easy with only a few exceptions.

The Perfect KO stuff is really annoying and I'd rather just see that actual damage of the combos
