+AliveBy7 People don't understand that this game was designed to bring new players into playing Street Fighter. if a new player had to think about a 35 hit combo with 9 of the hits being 1 frame links, the player would drop the game because of the execution to perform the combos is too difficult. That is why the combo system in Street Fighter 5 is short and easy for new players to understand. It's not even the main problem to the game.

A pretty neat thing that I found with Ken that I didn't see in this video is on a crush counter on an airborne opponent at a certain height with cr.hp, you can cancel into hard tatsu and get just two hits. It leaves them in the spinning juggle state and they fall really slow. After that you can get the second and third hits of fierce dp, or you can cancel it into v-trigger and get another fierce dp, ex dp, ex tatsu, or super. Super isn't worth it, but EX tatsu gets you like 25 extra damage over fierce dp, more stun, and makes the combo a corner to corner punish. It isn't optimal, but it's a nice little balance of practicality and swag.

+leon leon sf5 isn't a heavy combo fighter its more of a fundamental, footsie game. Knowing combos really isn't too much of a big deal because they're very short and limited compare to sf4.
Dio Joestar SFV has a three frame combo buffer. It means that while their are still one frame links, you have extra time before the link where doing the input will still work as perfect timing. Combo timing in general in this game is super easy with only a few exceptions.
