So basically she decided that her husband is not as important to her as her girlfriends! They were planning on committing adultery and if he had not discovered it, they would have done it! I have found that women think men talk about women a lot more than they actually do. Maybe in the movies, perhaps. No offense intended, but women really are not the topic that they may think they are. Sharing intimate details of one's wife with another man is just too vulnerable and would be seen as TMI. Men prefer to talk about sports, cars, current events. Those topics are, well, more interesting to men and make for enjoyable (and drama-free) conversations.
