@Emily Betliskey Not really. Melissa always thought that Chloe was one of the better dancers along with Maddie. Melissa's problem was with Christi cause Christi was always instigating stuff, but she was never cold towards Chloe.
I felt so bad for paige on the show. She was constantly overlooked and insulted by Abby, and by season 4 her anxiety was though the roof :(
Paige could have become a model and such a great dancer!! So much potential and abby failed to see it 💗

Paige would've been a better dancer if Abby paid more attention to her and gave her less acro jazz dances and more contemporary or lyrical dances. And if she had more technique classes and ballet training.
Paige had so much potential! Abby really did lose something good when Brooke and paige walked out her studio
@@dclottz934 Paige was a sweet girl and use to love dance but Abby made her lose her passion same with brooke. If Abby treated Brooke and Paige nicer they would've had they're passion still. And if she hadn't entered Kalani and Maddie's duet Paige and Chloe would've won and the hylands would've stayed and Kelly wouldn't had smack Abby.
I see paige more as a model...especially these days she sprouted from a beautiful butterfly into a beautiful sun flower (dont question my logic and science) but you get it. She even more beautiful now so I wouldnt be surprised if she went forward with her modeling career. Her mother made a good move in s1 or 2 I forget which season but she did that modelling thing with paige in the early seasons of dance moms. I hope she went with modeling. She could make bank. I hope. As long as she works with the right person

paige has amazing technique and she is a VERY advanced dancer. The reason why she was labeled “a weak dancer” because she had little to no confidence, she was losing passion, like brooke because of abby. Paige is SO underrated, she definitely deserved way more recognition than she got.
she said she didn't want to dance and would rather do modelling so there was no passion. I mean she never protested when her dances were pulled. I think her mother constantly set her up to be told off; like changing the dance, hiring different choreographer pulling her from numbers because she didn't want her to do a new dance or dance in a particular costume, having her miss class without notice, not making her go to core classes, not sending her to rehab after an injury etc. Abbby did like her because she was allowed to criticise her- she is paid for that opinion- but she wouldn't let anyone else do it.
@@MsJubjubbird Paige has been very verbal that she did love dance and she wanted to do both modeling and dance. She wanted to be a rockette like Chloe when they were both little. Modeling was something that came to her later and she did say she wanted to do both in multiple occasions and when modeling came along paige had been at like a heightened part of induced anxiety from Abby. Paige also was 10-13 during her time on the show so she doesn't really have much of a day when her mother wants to pull a dance or won't let her go on stage she's not gonna fight her mother because she was raised to be a respectful child. Kelly has also said that the choreographer "she brought in" was hired by production after Abby told her that Kelly would need to hire a new choreographer if she wanted control over her costumes which she would get costumes that didn't fit her and Kelly has said she pulled dances due to the fear of the Double Take situation happening all over again to Paige. Kelly wanted to protect her daughter because of how production tried to set her up. Paige also wasn't taking core classes because by season 3 she was no longer a student of Abby's she was only there to film the show and due to contracts she wasn't allowed to take classes at another studio so she obviously wouldn't be able to keep up and that's why she stood at the same level instead of improving.
@@thefrug4755 She says she liked dance. And maybe it was fun when she was young, it's all a game, she was winning and she has stars in her eyes. But she didn't come to scheduled classes with her peers and she never complained when her mother pulled her dances nor did she practice at home. If she really liked dance she would be enrolled in class to get better and would be upset when she couldn't dance. Abby even asked her one competition if she was sure she wanted to pull the number and Paige said yes. Compare with Maddie, dare I mention her name, who was practising her routines over and over of her own accord and cried when her mother tried to pull her from classes or dances. Paige even said in one episode she wanted to do modelling and didn't like dance, but she kept going because her mother said modelling opportunities came from dance. I remember the hobbies I first did as a small child, which are of course picked by your parents, it takes a long time to realise you have found your own interests and that you don't love what you are meant to love- because you're in a habit of wanting to do it and you don't know anything else.

I have to say, I'm not always the biggest fan of Melissa - but when she cheers for Paige's overall win in Texas, she cheered louder than she sometimes cheered for Maddie's win. Between that and the other little things you can notice in the show, you can tell she really, really loves Paige and that just makes me so happy.

Paige and Nia are examples of dancers who maybe did not have the best technique but they are PERFORMERS. They can command a stage even if they're not doing everything right technically. They have the charisma, the talent, and the energy. Abby did not know how to work with them and that's on her, not them

Paige would have been a great musical theater dancer if Abby didn’t tear her down so much. She deserved so much better. I loved her in numbers like Golddigga and such. She would have been a great broadway dancer

Paige was actually a really great dancer in the first and second season especially. You saw though as the seasons went on her passion for dance was stomped on and that caused a decline in her technique. So unfortunate that Abby and Kelly couldn’t act like adults.

To be honest,Paige is my favorite from dance moms. I felt she was quiet but polite and would NEVER speak up to an adult in a rude way. She’s very sensitive and such a good dancer. Not to mention she’s so cute!!

Paige was an amazing dancer Abby just never gave her suitable choreography. The sort of style and moves that she used in the dance Buckle Up really suited Paige.

I think Paige is super underrated! She’s actually a great performer with her facial expressions and energetic moves. Maybe lyrical and all these soft dances are not really her style but she’d make a great cheerleader with that energy and lean body. Love her!

@@celestia.5758 maddie had some natural born assets like musicality, movement comprehension, and some flexibility that some of the other girls didnt have, but i agree that they would've been better dancers if they had received proper training.
The other girls seemed lazier than Maddie tbh. Nothing wrong with that though-It’s because the girls had different priorities (music, cheerleading, modeling, etc).
Paige had better facial expressions and a better stage presence than Maddie.
I feel like Abby never gave Paige costumes that really complemented her legs

Paige is by far my favorite dancer on the show. She’s way stronger then the cameras made her look and she is such a good dancer :)
when paige got critiqued by cathy and anthony, she said that she didn’t mind it because it made her a better dancer but then abby had the senior team judge her and said it’s because paige needs to stop taking constructive criticism personally but she didn’t, abby was the one who argued with cathy and anthony, not paige??
As someone who didn’t do competitive dance, my heart goes out to Paige and Brooke, they didn’t sign up for the intensity of competitions and didn’t want to be professional dancers
