  • On 28 December 1938 the first trolley bus was driving from the city of Winterthur to Wülflingen. The first series consisted of only three vehicles, the fourth car number 14, was first presented at the National Exhibition in Zurich in 1939. Initially, people were skeptical to the new transport, which is not continued long. The softer suspension and also the higher cruise speed, no more tram squealing. It was not long before the Seemer also wanted the trolleybus. They were then on 24 July 1941.
    In this film, only the vehicles 11 - 13 are seen. This footage was filmed by the BBC, the cutting and scoring vehicle I've created.
