There is a current backlash to AI avatars. Once you know that they are AI (and it’s very easy to spot) you immediately don’t trust the information you’re being given. You know it’s not a human so it’s no better than dealing with a bot, when most people would rather talk to a real person. Gen Z’s are particularly turned off and reject them instantly.
Very true. Also in the age of AI why are these boring avatars relavant? Maybe I want an alien telling me info in a fun and unpredictable way with lots of things happening in the background in tune with a music track. 😂
I agree with you absolutely. There is no sense of authenticity. I am turned off too if it is AI generated content. They all have a somewhat similar pattern in the content, voice, and presentation style.
Hi Bob. Can this software add expressions to your image and can it deliver the final video with transparent background? ...since I would like to add my own video in background and not having to edit out green screen...thanks

Hi Bob. These tools are amazing! You do a great job explaining them, but I was wondering if there is anything out there that generates ACCESSIBLE content? I'm thinking that avatars would be ideal for BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE (BSL) on websites. Do you know of a tool that can do that?
That is an amazing idea! I have not heard of any models that are trained on delivering sign language, but I wonder if anyone is working on that...
I took a look at their pricing and I think some of the features you showcased are enterprise solutions. For example voice cloning is only available with their enterprise plan.
So I guess this video was more like an ad for their service. I was not aware of this when I watched it.
Actually, the purpose of the video is to demonstrate the potential of the platform. Yes, I was using enterprise features. In my next follow up I will be more clear on that. This is not a sponsored video.

I wanted to try it out to see if the paid version is worth it, but right now it's so slow that it's not even possible. Even a standard presentation is currently not loading correctly.
Tried to use a different browser, but currently only Chrome is supported.
@@FlyEaglesFly52 I'm not sure what you're referring to in terms of the speed. When you say "so slow", what do you mean, and what are your expectations?
@@BobDoyleMedia I mean the loading time, for example, when I want to add a new slide. Sometimes I wait for minutes to see it appear. The same goes for selecting an avatar. In well over an hour, I haven’t managed to create three decent slides that I could export. The main reason for this is the loading time. This is my current experience. My internet connection is very good. Other websites and tools load quickly enough.

I know Synthesia also for a Long time (before Ai/Chatgpt)… the quality got better 👍🏻
Can any native speaker for english, french, spanisch etc. Tell me if the Voice Sounds real? German doesnt Sound real (but much better than before).
German sounds pretty fine. They all are diff. from a real person but the diff. is pretty negligible.
There are multiple voices, some sound more realistic but they all a sort of robotic and "correct", no dialects. ...like "Tagesschau" anchors . I think think Synthesia would be a good replacement for the people there 😉
The $29/month plan only gives 10 minutes of video A MONTH (I would need 60 minutes of video A DAY!).
The $264.00/year plan only gives 120 minutes A YEAR.
What good is 10 minutes of video a month to anyone? Ridiculous.
Also, the avatars that come with this software all look like stiffs from Hicksville.
Ummm, normal short ads?? And your custom avatar won't be that stiff is moderately good and no matter how you put it's still a lot cheaper
The insane level of content moderation on this platform all but guarantees that the product will only be used to churn regurgitated garbage for tiktok and youtube. It's already a huge problem as it is and now it's only going to get worse. You can't use it for anything ACTUALLY creative because the rails it locks you on and the insane levels of moderation in place. You can't use it for jokes or memes or it gets flagged for "misinformation". Cool idea but hot garbage implementation. Thanks for the video Bob, top tier breakdown as usual, no disrespect to you of course.

For corpo word the tool is great - in privat life I prefere watching real human :)

If you’re asking, if you can create avatars based on your own face, then yes, that’s what I’m demonstrating. It’s not about just uploading an image, though, but creating a model out of source video.

I am not aware of any limit aside from the total finished minutes your plan allows.
Yes, you can. The Limit of minutes is within your Plan. E.g. For €79/month you get only 30min. (So in your 10min case only 3 Videos, or 1 Video 30min)

While the technology is certainly amazing, I found the site often becomes completely unresponsive, most of the features you show are only available under expensive paid subscriptions, and unfortunately it's another one of those overcensored tools that makes it practically unusable in more artistic contexts. I would hope next time you start with a short breakdown of features, pros and cons before diving further into details and demos, could save some of us a lot of time.
@@MrTwister242 well to be fair I believe that Synthesia and other solutions like it are clearly focused on the more corporate type of presentation rather than something wildly creative. The whole structure of the platform is set up for this purpose. It’s about the right tool for the right job. Generally speaking, this solution probably won’t be for the common end solo user who aren’t patt of a bigger company or team, but for the right folks, this can be a game changing solution.
But yours, and some of the other feedback here, has given me the idea that I should probably start these videos with being very clear on who this solution is for and who it is not, if appropriate.

Is it too late to cease Ai? Remember Hansel and Gretel? Being tricked? With irresistible goodies? Are we to be… laid off by Ai? Ai jobloss for everyone? Swell robotics doing everything? Or worse, imprisoned inside an… Ai new world order?
I'm thinking certain intelligence agencies have had this capability for many years. Osama Bin Laden videos have been cancelled from the internet, but I used to marvel at the variability of his appearance from one agency-posted clip to another. He actually got much younger between one video and another that appeared a couple years later.

I like AI but so many of these products feel like they solve a problem that doesn’t exist. AI faceless yt shorts don’t add any value. Why do I need an ai avatar to tell a my coworkers something? I’d rather someone text something instead of an ai avatar. We’re about to get flooded with so much worthless content
You may ask yourself why you need AI to tell your coworker something, but not everybody does. Plus, this is about being able to multiply yourself many times over with no extra time required, in addition to the ability to be multilingual. And worthless content is always going to come, regardless of what technology is out there. I’ve showed this to marketers whose jaws have dropped, who are all perfectly capable of making their own videos, but would rather not spend the time doing that if they can do other things. There are so many logical uses for this.
Brilliant video. no need to defend yourself. I will be using this program. People are still backing Biden for president,the guy is in late stage dementia. That is sad but he is backed by 40% of America that says a lot for the education level of the people world wide.

I enjoyed this video tremendously. Is there an AI voice generator that will sample an audio track that I have, that will then convert a script using the sample? I have a few audio samples of a man, and want to create a new script using this source sample.
