Same thing here as with Jon Bon Jovi. Gene Simmons cautions her that lyrics have meaning, and she's already there, she already has an internal narrative about what the song means to her. and Gene, like Jon, and Katy always have the same message to Abi..."be yourself". It sounds simple, but so many people spend their time going around trying to be somone else, and that comes across in their music. "To thine own self be true." I have to believe that all these people, and more, very seasoned professionals in their careers see something special in Abi, and they're giving her their very best advice, simple though it sounds. They see a unique talent, and they're trying to help Abi on her way. Cheers.
