@@annaduda7260 Yes, and so do Americans as guests at the reception. But, the tradition is for the bride's father (or family) to pay for the wedding, and the groom's family pays for the bar bill.

This dancing presentation is only done when the son or daughter of the Bobover Rebbe gets married. Dancing is a major component of a wedding and this particular show is to gladden the hearts of the bride and groom. These dancers wear different costumes at each wedding.

The women are in a separate room. Before the ceremony there is Kabbalas Panim where women and girls wish the bride well and give her names of people for whom she should pray (for singles to find their marriage partners; for childless couples to have children; for sick people to get well, etc.) After the ceremony the bride and women dance together separately from the men. At Bovov and other Chassidishe weddings you can see a vast crowd. Women don't dance in front of men. You will notice that the bride can dance with her father but when she dances with other men (her father-in-law, brothers, uncles, grandfathers) they hold a gartel (either black or white) so they don't touch each other. It has to do with modesty.
