This song has such incredible power and presence . I recall watching a clip with Jack Black walking on stage to be interviewed for a talk show. This was playing as he strode in to view. Great taste in selecting this track. It’s timeless and incredibly powerful.
@@gumbyone5725. Stairway to heaven is just their signature song, literally every song of the physical Graffiti album is better than stairway to heaven

First song ever in metal history to have a breakdown it is straight a boogy tune and I am almost certain if I was there live during 3:00 I'd be starting a mosh pit haha

Many will say this is their favorite song from the Crew of the Mother Ship. The Mighty Led Zeppelin has a resume of amazing diversity that qualifies them as the Greatest Rock Band Of All Time.... They certainly have a place in that debate with the Fab Four and those Rolling Stones as to being the "GOAT"
Nicely done. The drums are always powerful. My favorites for Bonham killing it are, Misty Mountain Hop, Achilles Last Stand and Carouselambra. So many more. ✌️
Love the reaction. Keep it up! Maybe check out the live Celebration day version of this. Done when the band was in their 60's and they kick it better than most modern young bands can manage.
The smile on your face says it all my friend. I know you can envision each member playing their part in this ensemble. 2 years ago, well, not so much! You've come a long way in 2 short years JM. Thanks for the ride!!!
Even though this song has some dumb lines ("I am a traveler of both time and space...") I think it's a better song the "Stairway to Heaven," which I found overrated even when I was 14. This song gets sampled by Hip Hop artists constantly, most notably "P. Diddy" with "Come With Me" back in 1998.
As Good as they did this Live! This Studio Version has Set the Bar High! They used a portion of the London Symphony Orchestra for this Masterpiece! 🎶
Yes! Studio version the best!💞✌️
Greatest Band to have ever existed!
When it hits it just hits differently

IMO, this is The Greatest Zeppelin song ever, many would most likely say Stairway to Heaven, not me....this a Masterpiece!
I agree. With When the Levee Breaks a close second.
I agree 100%, Stairway to Heaven barely makes the top five on Zeppelin IV. IMHO
@@gumbyone5725. Stairway to heaven is just their signature song, literally every song of the physical Graffiti album is better than stairway to heaven
Kashmir is the greatest Zep song, no doubt. And yes, When the Levee Breaks is the second greatest Zep song.
agree
Magical. Thank you
Best listened to in a '66 Chevelle SS396 convertible... cruising down the highway, going nowhere in particular. 👍🏽
No instrumental has any right to be this badass and epic

"BONZO".... nuf said.
Studio version of Trampled Underfoot next please.

He will never sing it the same way twice
You missed the Houses of the Holy album?
Bonham!

@AliasMark69, I'm just glad he put the top down. Letting my freak flag fly! Destination: Nowhere Special...always wanted to go there.
Epic song!! John Bonham is off the charts all the way through this album. 🔥🔥 Great reaction - thanks ☮
You want drum virtuosity? "Fool In The Rain" That shuffle is absolutely wonderful.
Among Bonham's greatest....and that says a lot. He's as much about the space between his notes as he is the thunder he brings when he hits it.
The patience to not hit the crash. Desert sized intervals. 😉
The Mighty Led Zeppelin at their absolute peak of epicness.
This song is quite popular, as your numbers will certainly show. It's one of those special tunes you are learning about.

The last two minutes of this song is cosmic.
Nothing like it.
I play this all the time! ♥️🎶
There are some very very close runners up but this is my favorite Zeppelin song. ♥️♥️♥️

We grew up with this!!! Good times
Total Masterpiece…..🐐
MASTERPIECE! This is my phone ringtone!
JMBOY, I know you love Boz Scaggs and Silk Degrees. I think you missed another great one: IT'S OVER
Maybe a little forward...but I love your smile!
What? A little forward? Explain.
No horns or violins.... Jimmy Page used a violin bow to play his guitar making that sound.
Masterpiece !!!! The best live version is Knebworth 1979..... Bonzo went wild with the drums.
You have to react to the live 1979 Knebworth version... better than the studio!!!
sometimes the 70s got it right.

It’s not a stupid line. It’s also a much better song than stairway, stairway is one of the most overrated songs ever I skip it every time
