I only discovered Mr. Frassanito's works last year. Absolutely amazing work.
My hero, Bill Frassanito. His books taught me more about Gettysburg than any others.
Love listening to this as a relative of Pvt. Levi Mumper, Co. I 127th PVI and Gettysburg Photographer post war!
Gary always is as enthusiastic as a kid on Christmas mornings. I love it.
He acts so childish, such a doofus!
I could listen to Bill talk Civil War & his collection all day!
Great presentation! Great panel!❤
Andrew thanks for bringing these three historians together. Sue,Gary and Bill . It was a great presentation of these special photos. The history was just great. Mr. Frassanito photos will be great addition to the Museum. The Children of Sickles and original picture of the Gettysburg Address. Just a question. You mentioned the Tyson’s that took pictures. Are they relative’s of The Tysons in Arkansas? Thank you for sharing this great presentation! 👍
Good stuff !
Good stuff!
Fascinating content
So very cool. Getting to spend an hour with Bill via You Tube, is why they invented the internet.
I was at this museum last month. It’s TERRIFIC !!!!!!
Having had an interest in the Battle of Gettysburg for many years and then obtaining a copy of 'Gettysburg, A Journey in Time' was like an awakening I have never experienced before and have not since. I have had a great deal of people over the years ask me before their first trip to Gettysburg and what to do and see there. I have ALWAYS told them to buy a copy of 'Gettysburg, A Journey in Time' when they arrive at Gettysburg and use it as a guide around the battlefield to get a very good impression of the battle and its participants. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Frassanito for his research and work. Sadly, I almost ignored this video when I saw Garry Adelman was in it. I know he is a knowledgeable historian, but his demeanor just drives me up a wall. It's like he needs a permanent IV solution of Ritalin.
When will we get to see a published version of the newly discovered Tyson print?
Outstanding. But I was privately selfishly hoping he had final confirmation on location of Harvest of Death photograph
Do Bill and Garry sign off on the new placement of where Lincoln stood for the Gettysburg Address?
When i started watching, Garry scrolled back on his phone and my tablet went out! Coincidence? ;-)
After 1:06 I am dismayed that there was no mention of the 3 Confederate prisoners.
Who is the guy in the middle?
His name is Barton.
You forgot to introduce Gary...
Don’t worry, Garry will be sure to introduce himself!
Love the you tube videos. Too bad tim was ill. Miss his videos. Disagree Gary was introduced by the Director of achs. Bill Frassinito was a true professional when the Director pulled the rare picture of A. Gardner from its protective sheath. My Father, John Sr, who was an avid collector of coins, rare firearms and various Antiquities. He taught me you don't touch nor remove rare items from their protective coverings such as rare coinst touching the barrel of a rare gun and not cocking the gun to prevent

I agree with some of what your saying. Private property can be handled by "private hands" with the owners permission of course. Bill did the right thing cause it's still his property and he wanted it handled "carefully."
Gary playing on his phone is annoying. Just sayin'
