I love this one and once I smelled it in Paris when it was just put out at the Printemps store I immediately said I want to review it. I got this awhile ago. It's so pleasant and easy to wear , a great and somewhat unique easy reach for the warm weather.
I got 12 hours of performance from it , projection was about half an arms length for the whole life of it. 👌
@Marc Thompson i blind bought it so I couldn't say no but it would be neglectful of me to say yes also.
I'd say if you like the notes , and if reviewers who's taste you share also like it. Then I'd say it's a good and safe blind.
So I'd read / watch reviews and decide if it appeals to you 👌
My first sampling of this was not successful on my skin. The beachy vanilla disappeared quickly and I was left with a not creamy, somewhat scratchy wood. I’m going to try again, though; making sure my skin isn’t too dry. I haven’t had great luck with this brand but this one is so appealing..::
Your right about the scent experience. Some frags touch your scent receptors in a way that can't really be described as smell. Its like Tom Ford's Oud Wood & Versace's Oud Noir smell almost identical but Oud Wood also touches you & grabs peoples attention. Same thing with Creed's frags compared to all their clones.
I’m saving up for a bottle of 1861 Renaissance but your review of Vanilla Vibes makes me want to just blind buy this right now. I can’t picture a summery vanilla which makes this even more appealing and interesting to my curiosity. Thanks for reviewing Sebastian.
I got a sample of this as soon as it came out, and I really like it. And as you said, salt absolutely has a smell. Anyone who has been to the ocean will tell you that as soon as you get near the coast, you can smell it in the air.

You absolutely can smell the salt. Anybody that’s ever been to the beach knows with this all day or smells like and it’s not like regular air.

Omg I’m so so so glad I took a chance and got it.
On the dry down I just get beautiful garden flowers. No gourmand vanilla, no synthetic notes, no musk, no excessive salt and no coconut.
I really do love the beach vibe this scent brings. And the ad for this scent was electric.

Hi Thanks it sounds great I Love Beachy fragrances for sure I Love me some Sunny side up it’s not a beast nor long lasting but I reapply and I still enjoy it! Yes I can pick up salty vibes for sure!

I have not smelled this yet but do own Mmmm...by Juliette Has a Gun and I love it.
This one had so much salt I almost got high blood pressure. I could not find the vanilla I was looking for. Beautiful designed bottle but it, IMO, it's for very acquired taste. Unfortunately, It didn't fit my fragrance profile.

Those notes sound similar to Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef & Arpels, but with the the beach note added 🤔

Thank you for this video! I bought a test bottle for $28 from Sephora/Kohl's and was very impressed! So, I bought the bottle for $135 and was soo excited to use it! Then, nothing. With the test/sample bottle, I applied a little when I got home, and it lasted until the next morning! With the big bottle...nothing. I've used it for about two weeks now. My husband has a nose like a dog, and I have to ASK him if he smells it! He has to get very close to check for the smell! Maybe I got a bad bottle? I am going to exchange it today at our local Kohl's and try again. You are correct! It IS a very sweet, gentle, beachy, sun-kissed scent. Have you heard of or ever experienced a situation like this?

exact same thing happened to me last year. the seller actually warned me it is a weak smell but i didn't believe him based on the sample.

DO NOT BLIND BUY THIS! This frag has been hyped so much in Fragcom but I was so disappointed with it when I tested it out. It smells like a wannabe version of Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc (which I actually like). There's a plasticky coconut/ sun tan lotion smell in this that is nauseating. Thank god it remains a skin scent throughout the life of the fragrance or I'd have had to scrub it off immediately.
It made made me immediately nauseous. I had to scrub it off.

Hello gentleman, nice done. Do you know about old Fragrance: Nino Cerruti by Cerruti from 1980, Ebene by Pierre Balmain from 1983. If you know it, what do you recommend me as replacement for it. Thank you
I tried it, loved the scent, but found the performance very poor. 😩 It’s got very soft sillage and poor longevity. If I got one, I’d use it like a body mist. So sad!
How does this compare with something like Acqua di Parma acqua di parma mandorlo di sicilia?
I searched 4 stores to find this, no one has it, I’d love to experience this scent, I have nothing like this.

hey Sebastian great review as always I'm replying to your comment if you can smell salt, yes you can smell salt it smells fresh, raw, nice fresh smell at first than it get raw the longer it stay on your skin I live on a island and I go to the beach and don't wash salt water off my skin and go home everyone you go around will know that you been to the beach their can smell you that raw smell of salt
