Hiya Digger, why don't you paint the window frames first and then mask them up? One piece of tape will cover them nicely. Airbrushing the brickwork should be nice and easy.
i find it easier to just paint the main brickwork and then go over the window frames with a really fine brush, painting them first would mean masking, but if i do them after the bricks it saves doing the masking
Nice kit there Digger. All the best with it and I dare say it'll look great on your lay-out, with or without Graffiti or faded advertisement painted on. Keep warm and Keep safe. All the best. Cheers!
Looks quite detailed Digger. How do you get on with light bleed through the plastic if you put interior lighting in? Would painting inside of walls be enough to stop that? Happy Modelling.
Thanks Mon, yeah theres a few things we can do painting is usually the first process, also putting a resistor on the lights and finally lining the interior walls with extra plastic or card sheet.
Hi Digger, interesting model! I always wanted to buy buildings from Walthers, but I'm now really surprised at how few parts there are. I actually find it a little disappointing... But at least the joints between the bricks are nice and deep, which makes it easy to work with paint. I'm really looking forward to your build with some interior, lights and weathered walls. Cheers - Ralf🍀👋🏻
Thanks Ralf, this is one of the budget end type of Walthers kit I also have the Ashmore Hotel kit to build and that is way nicer details and lots of individual components
@@DiggerEvans Ah, okay, I see...👍🏻 But before getting new buildings I probably should finally finish up my IHC barber shop, which I've though been using as a backdrop for photos for years.😁
