I agree with what you said about cockatiels being easy to tame based on my own experience with my cockatiel Chipper. I got him at 4 months old and he’s now 15 years of age. He was easier to tame than I thought because almost immediately he learned how to perch on my finger. Though he was quiet when I brought him home, he still showed a pleasant disposition which I thought was a good sign. He loved getting head pets and knew that putting his head down meant that he wanted them. I was also teaching him how to whistle. Within 2 weeks, he learned the wolf whistle, then the “charge” whistle. Soon I’d hear him say his name. I also taught him how to whistle the first line of the “Little Willy” chorus which not only did he learn quickly, he’d improvise his own whistling melodies...he knew that he was a talker! I think cockatiels epitomize the phrase “Good things come in small packages” because despite their small size, they’re giants when it comes to what they have to offer!
Thank you for this incredibly long WONDERFUL video. Yesterday I was given two beautiful cockatiels that were raised in an outdoor cage in the cold, (in Tokyo). So, they are quite wild, but I plan to slowly tame them. This video is a godsend! I thought my cage was big, converting a large cat cage into a bird cage, but your bird's room is a paradise, next to being out in the open. I enjoy watching this as much as my birds enjoy listening to it. :)
Thanks so much for posting these. Our ‘tiel Lazy-the-Bird lost his companion not that long ago. Since we starting playing your videos for him he looks way happier and more active.
I’ve just rescued a sad looking tiel that hasn’t made a sound since we brought her home, I’m playing her these sounds in hopes that it encourages her to make some noises too. She’s sat on my shoulder as I write this and she seems Intrigued by the noises. Fingers crossed as she settles more she becomes a little more vocal
I brought a pair of cockatiels 2 days ago , and we set an breed box yesterday after playing this sound I think about after 25 min they mate 😅 I’m happy for the results ( gave good light , peaceful room , cage size 3 ft L 2ftB and good food seeds and sunflower seeds and a cuttle fish) I bought these foods today on the day they mate Soo happy to share and thank you for this video ☺️👍🏻
Thank you so much for this! My tiel really enjoys it. We can all tell how much love you have for your little birds. I enjoy watching them too sometimes! I'm getting to know their personalities
Wow. I finally found something that keeps my conure quiet... Poor guy isn't enjoy living in an apartment this year. Soon enough though we'll get another birdy and hopefully he'll feel happier. But for now this will have to do 😔
My Chipper(cockatiel)has been reacting very well to these videos. Unfortunately because of my work schedule, I don’t think it would be a good idea for me to get another cockatiel-it would be doing him/her a disservice. I was able to train Chipper while I worked part time, he was four months old and that was 15 years ago.
I'm playing this because my companion almost died being stuck between two steels, i was lucky i saw her, now she's resting and okay, and i hope this calms her down
This is so helpful!! I just got a bird a as wondering why he was affine depressed ends up he was in a room with 12 othe cockatiels an this is the most engaged I have ever seen him
Gorgeous video. This is beautiful. My cockatiel loves it and I think my love bird does too. Where are you that you can have an outdoor aviary? You've created a beautiful home for your birds. I love the colorfulness and spaciousness, and love that you have different birds inside. Isn't it amazing that in nature, so many different birds can live together peacefully!?! This is the best bird video I've seen. I appreciate the "live" aspect. I hate "loops" which some people make and which your innate sense of things (sixth sense) begins to pickup.. This video depicts the birds in their natural setting, and is gentle, and also beautiful to watch. It is soothing as background for me and my birds. I love that it's 12 hours. I love the variety of shots which the Cockatiel Companion and The Pheasantasiam shot. This video is absolutely excellent! Thank you!
My baby cockatiel escaped and cant fly so he went under my dresser!! We started playing these sounds and it helped lure him out!! He is now happily chirping!!
I just rescued two teals, from a home that couldn't take care of them. One has extreme plucking and is bald. Hearing this video they made their first sounds, and left the corner that they were hiding in. This is truly a birdy blessing.
This video is the one thing that's helping my 9 year old cockatiel girl right now. Her friend passed away from cancer a few months ago and although she's been a solo bird before, it's harder for her now. She's gone from screaming ALL the time to being much happier chatting to get fake boyfriends on the TV. And she's now eating during the day because her fake flock is eating, which is a bonus as she lost a wee bit of weight from waiting until her human flock returned to eat.
This video is to celebrate the channel racking up 30,000 subs. Thanks to all the tiels (and humans) who are one of those 30,000. This is for you!

Beautiful aviary
Thank you for this incredibly long WONDERFUL video. Yesterday I was given two beautiful cockatiels that were raised in an outdoor cage in the cold, (in Tokyo). So, they are quite wild, but I plan to slowly tame them. This video is a godsend! I thought my cage was big, converting a large cat cage into a bird cage, but your bird's room is a paradise, next to being out in the open. I enjoy watching this as much as my birds enjoy listening to it. :)
I'm glad it helps. I also have 1, 3, 5 and hour ones too!
I just rescued a cocktail founded in my yard It lost its tail feathers only has one I feel so bad for it. thank you for the video it helps a little
Where was this?
very soothing voice so can concentrate in studies
Thanks so much for posting these. Our ‘tiel Lazy-the-Bird lost his companion not that long ago. Since we starting playing your videos for him he looks way happier and more active.
What are all the species in this aviary? I see splendid parakeets, barbary/ringneck doves, quail, but what is that big one at 1:53:30?
I’ve just rescued a sad looking tiel that hasn’t made a sound since we brought her home, I’m playing her these sounds in hopes that it encourages her to make some noises too. She’s sat on my shoulder as I write this and she seems Intrigued by the noises. Fingers crossed as she settles more she becomes a little more vocal
omg that’s so sad I have recently lost tiel two weeks ago where did you guys find it
I did the same thing! Except she went onto my back and it took her an hour to get off 😭
My Female Cockatiel didn’t do anything but she can talk and she is a bit scared of us but she is calmed down this video is cool! Thanks!
I’m out on vacation, and I miss my bird so much. This helped. Although, I don’t miss his constant concert of him singing the adams family 😂
What are the cute bright blue and green birds? My grumpy old man dusty loves hearing the birds.

Wow. My female is new to me, only been here a week and hasn't made a sound. Only took till 1:20 till she started chirping away.
The first screech and ours started to go nuts
Omg same
Few years ago my bird had a son and then it’s gone so sad 😭 so I cheered him up to not be alone by this video
That was a true story not gonna lie
Ohhh that beautiful birds!!!😍
I love these small guys with blue heads, so cool!
I've been searching the comments to try to find out exactly what they are.

I brought a pair of cockatiels 2 days ago , and we set an breed box yesterday after playing this sound I think about after 25 min they mate 😅 I’m happy for the results ( gave good light , peaceful room , cage size 3 ft L 2ftB and good food seeds and sunflower seeds and a cuttle fish) I bought these foods today on the day they mate
Soo happy to share and thank you for this video ☺️👍🏻
this is so cute. he cokatiel started making a ton of chittering noises and started singing
My little buddy filbert loves this!!!! Thank you so much.
Thank you it really helped my male cocktail get back to life and be happy again 💙👍🏻 he was lonely
Thanks so much for this video. Just what I was looking for, for my tiel. Very peaceful for humans too, lol. 😊
Thank you so much for this! My tiel really enjoys it. We can all tell how much love you have for your little birds. I enjoy watching them too sometimes! I'm getting to know their personalities
I'm glad you and your tiel enjoy it.
My Cockatiel Isabella loves your channel! She sings and talks! Thank you! She is almost 22.
I'm glad she likes it.
The screech around 4:25 made my cockatiels and finches really scared 😅 they flew around like crazy
My tiel keeps his feathers down with these sounds. He's always on edge and grumpy. But this..certain songs and food calms him down
213 bad birbs disliked this precious video after trying to eat the keyboard while watching this.
Bahaha 😝😆
Isn’t it the truth tho.
Mine is a little peckish about damn near everything.
Loves the keys on the keyboard, pulls them right off. 😝
ബ്യൂട്ടിഫുൾ 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I don’t have a cockatiel but I play this all the time just because they are the best. I wish I had one. So much better than a bloody macaw
I take it🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 (jk)
Macaw are the best, you don’t deserve him/her
If you are gonna be rude to that macaw then you dont deserve any bird at all
What’s wrong with a macaw? Also why is that relevant, they’re totally different from cockatiels
I have a cockatiel amd loveee them and macaws 😍
Fabulous!! For so many reasons!!
tysm my bird loves it! :)
Wow. I finally found something that keeps my conure quiet... Poor guy isn't enjoy living in an apartment this year. Soon enough though we'll get another birdy and hopefully he'll feel happier. But for now this will have to do 😔
So beautiful
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure
My male cockatiel goes nuts when I put this on!
i love it 😊
Love this my bird was have a conversation with the birds lol so funny🤣🤣🤣❤❤
My Cocktail responds to this its so cute 😂😂
Omg thank you.i had a cd back in the 90s for my bird
My bird yesterday died, and my other one called Chip is alone, so this video helps so much❤
Playing this to my little guy to see his reaction to birdsong. We’re getting a new bird soon and he’s reacting happily. I think this’ll go well :D
My cockatiel is now a lot happier than before
Glad to hear it.
I'm playing this because my companion almost died being stuck between two steels, i was lucky i saw her, now she's resting and okay, and i hope this calms her down
This is so helpful!! I just got a bird a as wondering why he was affine depressed ends up he was in a room with 12 othe cockatiels an this is the most engaged I have ever seen him
Hi, I was wondering what grasses you have on the bottom for the birds.
My cockatiel got crazy and got on the toy!
Thank you!
Thanks, I have a lot more videos like this of varying length. This video may help explain a few things: ua-cam.com/video/AaJZgEKLTYA/v-deo.html
My baby cockatiel escaped and cant fly so he went under my dresser!! We started playing these sounds and it helped lure him out!! He is now happily chirping!!
IMAO SAMEE
❤I share
I dont have a cockatiel i have a lovebird yet she loves this 😭🫶🏼
I just rescued two teals, from a home that couldn't take care of them. One has extreme plucking and is bald. Hearing this video they made their first sounds, and left the corner that they were hiding in. This is truly a birdy blessing.
I love this videi
My birds love this video
They make sweet sounds
I remember Cockatiel at home back i was in Elementary School
I have gray and white cocktail he loves the sound 🥰
This video is the one thing that's helping my 9 year old cockatiel girl right now. Her friend passed away from cancer a few months ago and although she's been a solo bird before, it's harder for her now. She's gone from screaming ALL the time to being much happier chatting to get fake boyfriends on the TV. And she's now eating during the day because her fake flock is eating, which is a bonus as she lost a wee bit of weight from waiting until her human flock returned to eat.
(and hello from an ex aucklander, now living in chch)
One of them at some points sound like an American Robin! So cute!
love😍
