If anyone is ever curious about whether or not it's going to rain just look towards the dandelion.
On a cloudy day it's a dandy lions are open and not close all the way then it's not going to rain. Is the blooms are closed then rain is soon coming.

My mother and I would forage for dandilion greens when I was a small child and we were dirt poor. I enjoyed the cooked greens with a bit of apple cider vinegar salt and pepper. My Aunt made the dandilion wine and it was very good lol 😂. Hey April are you going to make any apple cider vinegar with all the apple trees you have on your property? Thanks for my continuing education. I learn something new every day from you. Much love and many blessings. 💚

    My favorite 😍
Had leaves, buds and flowers with feta last evening, the roots are still waiting, I eat the small ones like candy, raw, the blooms are my garden snack, I now may just put some in the freezer😊
My latex allergy must just be to synthetic, dandies never bother me.

I like how you have done your dreads. It looks nice, the side sweeping style. I use to do hair, skin and makeup. A nice natural moisturizer, a little concealer under eyes, and some Arrowroot powder, lightly applied with brush to take shine away. Mix some beet powder with coconut oil, add a little color here and there. You look happy and vibrant in this video 😊

4 cups of dandelion petals. (I remove the green).
      4 cups water
(In one batch I also added a small organic apple and lemon. It was delicious!).
Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let sit overnight (or at least 5 hours).
The next day strain out the solids. Measure the liquid you have and add it to a pot. Add an equal amount of sugar. Bring to a low boil and continue stirring until you reach your desired consistency. Pour into sterilized jars. I get almost 2 pints of syrup.
(Be sure to test it on a cold plate because it will be thicker than you realize. I messed up my third batch by overcooking it and it all crystallized).
I hope this helps you. 🙏❤️

Awesome tip! Freezing the flowers before drying, I put the flowers in oil after I picked them. But im going to go out tomorrow and get some more of her. Here in the UK, we've been enjoying this beauty for several weeks ( by we, I mean people and pollinators 😂). Because although you are absolutely right about there being very little pollen, when dandelion comes up, she's pretty much one of the first flowers to emerge in early spring here.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom again. I'm so glad I am subscribed. A few quid a month to you is basically just two loaves of bread for me. Feeling like I'm giving something back to you makes me feel less guilty for drinking in all your amazing brain power!❤

Last year I found out drying the blossoms only fast forward their life cycle! This year, picked ones bearly starting to bloom. Next year into the freezer! Just tried picking the bud? (Time will tell) Been deep fried blossoms for years. Now I freeze them on a cookie sheet. After frozen, put into bags. And enjoy months later. Started to make patties in frying pan. 1c blossoms (no green, just yellow) 1 egg, 1 Tbl mix & fry. Makes 2 patties.
I learned so much more from you today. Spring roots, wow! & using the stems. Glad the tree was helpful. Thankful for all you teachings. Sorry this is long
