This wheel has been on the market for 2 years and by this time it should have the latest firmware installed. But I would still suggest to check that when you get it. And don't forget to update firmware for TGT.
Tip from my side: all the info on your wheel, go to OSD settings in the F1 game (when on track) and hide them on screen of your Tv/monitor, for example the MFD

Pure performance speaking, using the screen from your wheel doesn't look very productive, you twitch every time you change screens. I would rather look at the info on my monitor. That being said, the TM SF1000 is a beauty

Been playing these games since 2010...nothing has changed. 2012 and 2013 was the closest it got to simulation. As of now, the best f1 experience on consoles is Assetto Corsa with the SF70H. Even the older f1 cars are amazing to drive.

You asking about T300 or SF1000? Because first I updated firmware on both, and later I install SF1000 on my T300 base and later I plug USB cable from T300 into my PS5.
I just bought this wheel for my PS5 but the MFD doesn’t show me anything. Does this mean I need to update my T300 firmware? How can I do that if I have a Mac?

You need to update your firmware on both: T300 base (V33) and SF1000 wheel (v5.51). After that, in the game controller settings select Thrustmaster Advanced Racer.

Well I imagine tm will make the dd compatible with this wheel, At least I hope they will because I hope to get that next. If your a big fan of the f1 games I'd say it's worth it, although I'd say the lcd screen is wasted for me because I hardly look at it.

It's exactly the same as with every other controller. You pressed the button and you got pop up with preset questions.

You also need to update SF1000 firmware. On Mac you can use Bootcamp or any VM software which allow you to install Windows 10.

Yes, you need to update them both on your PC. You can download firmware from Thrustmaster page. You don't need UDP connection on PS5.
