the fact that she noticed mr poppybutthole reversed his fork hand kinda show how she really understand and at the same time knows that there is something wrong and that he is not the real one

If that was meant to be the detail, then I don't think they animated it accurately enough
The other Poopybutthole only drops his utensils directly infront of him, then our Poopybutthole picks them up from directly infront without needing to swap

@@godusopp1797 good suggetion,m didnt tought about that, we might even be complicating things like she sawe the portal opening and another one coming out of there, lol, but I dont think its the case, because if so, she wouldnt seem alright, right at the start with the beer. And the thing that triggers me is that Rick has always changed dimensions and nobody suspect a thing, and even the change of fork is weird because of why they were supposed to be the same. There wouldnt be a Universe just for a left handed Mr poppybutthole you know, prob he didnt know tha existed different universes and he swapped with one that was completely differenr, I mean he kind went to past but Im curious to what we will se in the future

The thing that I noticed (and presumably everyone else as well) is that his alt-universe wife has the look of someone that’s been plotting to murder her husband and is about to do it to *our* MPB…
This is why you do your due diligence people… this is why you make sure that the alternate universe you’re about to shift into is actually what you think it is

Yup. Beth is kind of just shoehorned in as the catalyst in a "butterfly effect" sort of way. R&M hired the students because they needed to test Mr.PB after he got shot.

Alternatively, he wanted something as close to his previous life as he could get.
A universe where Amy hadn't met him would be a universe without his son in it. A universe where the alternate PB had died would mean explaining portal travel and hoping his wife and son would accept a new PB.
Much easier to find a place where his family exists, is happy and stable, and just slide into it
A big theme in this season and in PPH's arc is that Rick is reforming and being a better person while PPH is going down the road of a monster

I am sure the students didn’t say that to their parents. The Uni doesn’t want to be sued by parents and loose money so they fired the professor to avoid ‘issues’.

I dont know if its just me, but its like rick and morty lost its magic. This last season wasnt bad but i didnt nearly enjoy it as much as i did the previous season like 1-4. I honestly dont think I'll be tuning in for season 8.
Roiland had that it factor to his VA. He brought the wacky zany improv feel. Now it just feels scripted and unnatural. Not defending him as a person, but his VA on R&M was undeniably a huge part of the magic of the show

I hate this. It used to be a dark show with some light at the end of the tunnel, but every season it got worse and worse, more and more hopeless... We have a ton of adult cartoons about "there is no hope but this character is too stupid/selfish/cowardly to kill himself", we don't have enough about "this character lives in an adult world with huge problems, but he's getting better" and there's a stupid tendency to turn the latter into the former at the end.
What are you talking about? This is excellent character continuity. PBH is initially shown to be a hopelessly optimistic moron who's life is ruined by the Sanchez's, a bit like Jerry, before we eventually see he's more like Rick and putting up a facade. He's fully aware of his actions and consequences, but chooses to hide behind blind optimisim and playing dumb instead of addressing the problem.
At the end we see a conclusion, an offer to help from friends, and an acknowledgement that he can and will do it himself, whatever it takes. Then we see that's still a facade, and he's more like Rick than first thought, because he'd rather hide behind a facade and choose the easier path of stealing another life and blindly assuming it'll work.
Not every character and every story needs to go through the hero's arc. Just because he exists and has a problem doesn't mean he needs to get better.
Is Mr. Poopybutthole really just a representation of Justin Roiland and his relationship with the show? 😅
