Love watching your videos man. First season ever in snow and we started with liquids. Lot's of learning curves but it's been a blast. We are using the brine buddy and have found using water softener salt to be super clean and at a decent price. Biggest battle is keeping this stuff clear of build up.

Really looking forward to seeing how you like the brine. Doing snow removal for 20+ years and seems the last few years everyone is pushing liquids more. Personally I used treated rock salt for pre treatment and after plowing - Magic Salt and I never had a problem getting/keeping lots ice free. I just feel like it’s a huge investment, more work and not sure on the return, I would also think you would feel that brine moving in the tank when plowing. Good luck this weekend!👍🏻
I myself have used salt for 30years but the prices are getting higher and higher very interested to see how well it works and how much savings in using brine,what part of pa are u from?
I have been in snow for 30 years as well. Cost of salt in the mid-Atlantic/northeast is out of control. The biggest added revenue value comes from the sidewalks, as bags (even the cheapest bags) are very expensive on a per sf basis. I am in E. PA, lehigh valley.
You take disappointment well be careful not to spray the aluminum door and window frames with that liquid it will eat them up hope you and your family have a healthy and prosperous year thanks
Our brine maker used to fill up with sand leaves and stone every year and we would use our pipe flusher/vac truck to clean it out

Thank you, you as well. I am using additive so that reduces corrosion by 70% compared to straight rock salt, plus it does not track into buildings.
