I do think the hospital visit was staged; however, hospitals in poor countries are not well equipped. Patients rely on relatives to supply clothes, food, water, blankets. Patients do not automatically receive an IV; equipment is expensive, only necessary in surgery.

Yes, the idea of being working Royals is to give back.... this pair are takers and want it all their own way. They couldn't be equal with William and Catherine, so they are still trying to set up their own court. It won't work as much as they try.
But there are also plenty of reports - from charity workers or others there to meet her - that the moment the cameras disappeared so to did Diana. She was there for the publicity in many cases and didn't actually give a toss about the charities themselves. I didn't know this until Harry began dragging her into everything and people were back claiming she was such a wonderful woman, and people began speaking out about the real Diana and how often she disappeared with the media cameras leaving those there to meet her standing and staring as her car drove off with her in it.

I'm not saying she didn't have her PR with the press absolutely co-ordinated but at least she could hold a conversation and actually touch people without recoiling.

The lady with the microphone then said "lower the music, stop the music" - clearly upset. The DJ didn't obey, the music continued. The ungrateful pair left. The optics were terrible. They have no decorum, either of them.

I’ve heard a few different people saying Nigeria is a mostly Muslim country and those people dress conservatively. The truth is the whole country - Muslim and Christian, men and women - dresses conservatively. She dressed incorrectly no matter what part of the country she was in or who she was talking to. That backless, side boob dress was particularly disturbing.
I lived in Saudi Arabia for around 20 years.My husband Paul was working for Saudi Aramco. I.always respected the dress code of this Islamic country. To be a western woman, walking around exposing bare flesh would have been so disrespectful. The Muslim ladies had to be covered from head to toe....as per the religious ruling. I always kept myself decently covered. How dreadful and awful for the lovely Muslim ladies if the western ladies flouted the rules that they were obliged to follow. Show respect, Ms Markle. My daughter’s work colleague was working there for nine months. She flew home regularly but was always met with full security at the airport and went by military convoy to the compound they were working in. The reverse happened on the return to the airport.

M can’t do fashion show in UK Invictus this time around, so she did it in Nigeria. It’s always about M and never about the Invictus. Though the responses from Nigerian ranged from lukewarm to plain distaste; the danger is that many of them would associate this trip as though of the true Royal visit and further perpetuate the resentful feeling toward Monarchy in general. The UK government and KC really need to take firm action before H&M make further mockery of the British monarch!

The hospitality of the Nigerian government was over-the-top. Among other things, they presented shawls which they wanted Meghan to cover herself in a 50% Muslim and 50% Christian country. Great clothes for California beaches and parties. Not so, as a guest for a conservative.
