Steve On His Tribute to Owen Hart | The Steve Austin Show
21 years and it still hurts
What hurts?
@@Greg400 owen
25 years now.
@@Greg400our hearts .
From what Stone Cold Said, it seems as though there no bitterness from Him towards Owen.
Stone Cold Hitman Yeah. Because even though there might have been some when Owen dropped him on his head (And Allegedly Never Truly Apologized For It), you can’t compare that to someone losing their life in the ring. So I’m highly sure Austin Let That Go, Because It Was No Point Of Holding Any Grudge.
I honestly don't believe owen didnt apologise about the botch! Every person that knew owen said he was one of the nicest guys going! Personally i feel Austin was just really pissed off that his career could of been ended or worse and didn't feel any apology from owen was sufficient and i can understand that.
@@Theemptythroneistaken owen did apologise. Austin said it himself in a rolling stone magazine interview on December 1999 that owen apologised
@@GamingNewsIn60 why would Austin lie on a dead guy?
@@zlord1199 ask Austin. He said owen did apologise in a magazine article in 1999, and then after owen died started saying he never apologised. Rolling stone magazine December 1999 to he exact.
i think the crowd just like me at home. didnt know hot to process that raw. with Owen having died the night before and raw being a tribute show. i was out of my mind crying. but many not knowing how to react to all of it and they just didnt react to alot of it in the normal way to wrestling. which in turn also threw some of the wrestlers off while also grieving and processing too
Was undertaker there the tribute night I didn’t see him once?
I remember hearing that Taker took that night off so he could check on and look after Bret. Bret hadn't even known about what happened to Owen until he had touched down in Los Angeles to do Jay Leno's show.
he apparently was with the Hart family
@@EdSmith313 he found out in the flight and bischoff was waiting for him
Taker flew to Calgary to be with the Hart family, which is why he wasn't on RAW the next night.
Taker was/Still is such a big role in the back I believe as well.. and always was the most caring of all to come and go and has always been WWE TO THE CORE! the fact he went to be there in Calgary just proves it that much more!💯♥️ props to Mark
They should have canceled the rest of the paper view . Vince is to damn greedy !!! Owen would not want the show to continue
“Paper view”🤓
I would not
I’m curious to see who all is going to talk in the dark side of the ring documentary when Owen Hart’s episode airs
Probably Jim Ross for sure and maybe Jerry Lawler. Bret Hart, X-Pac possibly since he was the match before and has talked about it on a recent interview, The Godfather since he was on The Brawl for All episode, not sure if Cornette will take part in this one or not. Possibly Jim Korderas the referee for the match.
His wife, Martha, will for sure be on it.
@@jamesprice6470 and his son Oje. He looks exactly like Owen. God bless Martha and her kids.
When Cornette spoke it was hurting to watch
@@marcusmajors6196 exactly how I felt notice how Russo wasn't anywhere to be seen in that documentary
It was fine. Get over it. He died and as a kid, I loved this and thought it was a solid tribute. Now I think 50/50 sometimes but he passed and for the fans and Austin being at the top at the time, this was perfect.
They didn't get along Austin is lying
Well at the time Stone Cold did not have anything to do with him. Because Owen injured him and never said sorry. But his death touched everyone. A
Come on Steve you know damn well you called in your golden favor with Vince to facilitate his “accident” that night, it’s insulting to all of us to even consider otherwise atp
WTF! You surely can't be serious?
@@cliffjones9922 half being facetious, and half one thousand percent being truthful
@Gardenhoser86 You actually believe that Steve Austin wanted own to die, maybe as part of some sort of revenge for the botched piledriver? I dunno, you could be right, but I highly doubt it.
They should’ve canceled that next show after Owen passed. I understand why though obviously
Owen busted Stone colds neck and Stone Cold still respects Owen,
Bret says Owen never apologized, but Bret figures Owen was so embarrassed and ashamed he couldn't bring himself to see in person what he did to Stone Cold nvm even talking to the Texas rattlesnake.
I don't buy that argument. What does being embarrassed and ashamed have to do with apologizing to the guy you almost paralyzed? It just takes a few minutes out of his time. Owen was a prick to Austin.
@@sj4632 Then you don't have a clue.
@@ferox965 What don't I have a clue about?
@@sj4632Austin done the same to another wrestler years before. The circle of life.
@@Gunn27 Two wrongs don’t make a right…There was a language barrier between Austin and the Japanese wrestler as well as them being from different countries, far from one another. No excuse for Owen.
Them fans where selfish fd up people
I was there that night and I agree. It was weird when they all started screaming for Austin when he came out completely forgetting why everyone was there in the first place. I was behind a dipshit who was more worried about his sign being seen by the cameras than watching the show.
Attitude era fans were another breed of insane
Wwf at the time should have canceled the show period
Says a lot about the people in the the crowd tat night they were inconsiderate owen passed the night before ffs and they wanted a wrestling show like nothing happened
Even though he wanted to take you out full stop .316 must have balls
Holding Austin off until the final segment and hyping his appearance throughout the show was beyond reprehensible.
He was on stage during the 10 bell salute, they tried to keep the camera off of him
Apparently, you didn't watch the 10 bell salute and seen Austin on stage. 🙄🙄🙄
They didn't hype Austin at all that night. He was the man, and they put his tribute on last, because who could follow that.
@@sheepdavis Yes they did...
"had been killed", does that mean that Austin holds the company responsible?
I don’t think Steve wanted to do the toast to Owen out of respect for Owen and the hart family
Stone Cold said Owen was killed here and not accident... he knows whatsup
What a ridiculous statement. It was an accident you moron have some respect. What exactly are you accusing Steve of saying anyway?
🤡
Moron
Steve Austin's SHALLOW sad feelings toward Owen is PATHETIC...
How do you come to that conclusion?
@@sheepdavis It's no secret that Austin carried a grudge with Owen ever since SummerSlam where he had his neck injured by him. Steve Austin pretty much flat out refused to work with him again after the Survivor Series and then suddenly Owen dies, and Steve's proclaims him as one of his "buddies"... 🙄
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti6854just because you don't want to work with someone professionally doesn't mean you don't like them personally. Austin knows best how Austin feels.
Ya he may not have called you. But the behind the scenes apology wasn't enough was it? Its on film buddy. Trust me when I say if ANY member of the Hart family wanted Steve Austin hurt. He wouldn't be sitting there talking. My uncle used to wrestle with the Hart's. If they want to inflict pain they can. Over 20years later. I still get mad when idiots defend Austin. Austin was one of the biggest primadonnas.
Vince wanted Austin in Owens place.
That doesn't make any sense at all lol
Owen place? And what place was that?
Owen was already on top as Austin was both where over so that isn't true at all
Just another attention seeker trying to wish his dark conspiracies into existence
🤡🤡
To be honest I think scsa had something to do with Owen. Owen hurt austin so he wanted to get even so I think he had something to do with it
🤣🤣🤣
So you think Steve Austin had something to do with his death because Owen hurt him? Do you really think he is that petty or shady? What are you basing that assumption on other than the injury Owen gave to him?
I think you should stop smoking crack.
