Clarification: There are two speakers on the bottom, but the sound isn't terrific. And it may just be a mono speaker. So don't expect booming sound just because there are two speaker grills on the bottom.
I make close to 100,000 year and just bought this phone. I would NEVER pay 1000 bucks for phone. Kids are nuts buying phones for 1300 bucks with glued in battery.
Sometimes a good phone though can make all the difference in the world though. If it can allow you to make 1 more sale or land one client, etc that could mean you make all the money back. With that said I reviewed this for a reason, 80% of people with $1,000 phones probably can't afford them. We need to be realistic and there are plenty of decent phones for $200
@@MB-gd6be running good. Picks up at@t and Rogers network in Canada as well as T-Mobile. So tower coverage is excellent. Goes to show you cheap phones do well for business. I use hp app to print on the go and hotspot is fast on this phone to other devices.
Just bought this phone and it's great! Yes, I'm on a budget and was perfect for what I need and use. I agree with you on a lot things you said especially the battery 👍
According to the manual that is not two speakers on the bottom. Left to right it is the microphone, USB-C port, speaker. Last week at my nearest Metro By T-Mobile store it was $130.
This phone would be great for a landline replacement phone! There is something for everyone on this channel! There are ppl that don't want to spend a lot of money on a cellphone
I just got the Galaxy A23 5G. Yes I spent more money than the TCL shown here. Yet I just wanted to go a little step up. The TCL really did look like a great buy but I just wanted to get some of the Galaxy features. So far happy with my phone. I still think saving the money and going with the TCL would have been just fine. All depends on where you are wanting to go in the Android market. Great video!
I think TCL has done a great job with this phone and most of their phones in the last two or three years. And you are right, people tend to look down on budget phones but they offer a lot of value specs versus the low costs. Even upper end android phones have too many issues for their price tags. I bet the Dimensity 700 in this TCL 30 XE performs as good as the Samsung a32 5g and probably way better than the Samsung A53 5g that has a laggy Exynos processor. The only problem TCL has is sketchy update policy. If they can offer more support and start offering a few more features, they'll be on track to actually offer as much as Samsung budget phones. Great review!
@@AndroidDigest I honestly don't understand why certain companies like Motorola and TCL (along with a few others) don't offer longer support. It can't be that difficult to make your own software then update it.
It actually has screen mirror which my 400$ moto 5 g didn't so I'm impressed. First phone that can fully mirror on my flat screen even pirate it's dope
Think it is good that it has dual speakers on the bottom of the phone, was wondering if you could verify that they are both real speakers some manufacturers put a fake speakers on their phones. Thanks for the review.
I'm glad you pointed that out. I did overlook that. It appears to be a mono speaker. I think the sound is coming from the right, not the left. And no sound comes from the top (on youtube)
I can't even afford to buy a phone under $200 I'm in a really tight budget under $100 for me that's why I keep buying phones under $100 or $50 not everyone has it like that ever since everything went up the sky I had to change phone plans I'm on simple mobile I have the $25 plan with a cheap NOKIA C110 I always had the unlimited plan and went with a $39.99 phone I'm not used to having little data or having a low cheap phone and no I don't look down on them I just want decent performance
All you do is just go to your home screen. If you have gestures on, swipe up from the bottom, if you don't, just click the home button at the bottom. It's like on a computer. Except there's no x button on apps. For apps you have to click either the "recent app" menu, again, by the home button, OR if you have gestures on, you pull up from the bottom of the screen and hold in the middle for a second, it will bring up your recent apps, then you can "swipe them away" to close them. That's how you close. If you don't close an app that way, it stays running in the background, BUT, this is important, BUT if you open too many apps, and your phone can't handle it, it typically will automatically close out what you were doing in an older app. Normally after 4 or 5 apps on a phone like this.
Honestly I'd probably prefer the Stylus. This will be pretty similar in many ways but I think the Stylus is slightly better, mainly of course because it comes with a Stylus
this is a budget phone, so it may not have it, but there are plenty of phones that don't use tap to wake. But I can see why you would be disappointed if you are used to it

Hi Bro, how did it go for you? Maybe you have a problem with the touch since I currently have it and it only detects one finger and it's not because the screen is defective. I don't know why it happens to me.

How do you like this phone since you got it? There are quite a few phones out there 200+ and change

I corrected this in the top of the comments! It is one speaker but a little deceiving with two speaker grills
I found this phone pretty good. I don't need any fancy frills in a phone and I like this very much.
Exactly, pretty good for the price
Thank you for this practical, detailed review! Gave me a lot to think about.
Absolutely, check out my A14 5G review, that's probably a little better for the money honestly.
Another nice informative review.
Thanks as always! Means a lot!

Very informative, Thank you
I still have the TCL 10 L and it's still pretty good. Nice video.
Thanks! Appreciate it!

You made the right choice I think. Better software support than something that's a little bit better
Fun fact this device has a mediatek dimensity 700 prossesor

And to be clear all my Samsung Galaxy and Motorola phones had a cast feature but wouldn't work on my Samsung curve 4k uhd but this does

Moto G 5G or TCL 30 XE 5G? I accidentally bought the TCL interested in the same priced device moto g 5G 2023
I'm way late here, but I'd recommend the Moto G. Thanks for being a sub btw!
Ny whole house is ready for an upgrade. How is this compared to the TCL stylus?

Just curious if anyone can answer quickly, but does anyone have this phone and play Pokèmon Go on it? If so, does it play ok?
Thanks either way
I don't, sorry! But hopefully you find your answer soon!

It depends if you have an unlocked version or if it is locked to a carrier

Ur right headphone jacks are for poor people!
Well I don't know if I'd say it exactly like that 🤣. But to be fair some people can't afford new Bluetooth headphones. Especially decent ones

I just need to know how to start a group chat🥹🥲
Just go to messages, add a name, then click back up to the names and add a second name. That should do it
