🫂 - Hey, it might be a bit tough rn but I hope stuff gets better. :/ Had to move recently due to stuff in my home state going wild and still getting over it.
The video; amazing. It has some clearly experimental parts like the initial chapter presenting the computer (which impressed me greatly, great job Snoopie on the camerawork), but also has a familiar tone and feel in the Linux part, which was nice too. A new environment does change things greatly, but the video felt much more open in terms of space and shots. I really enjoyed the GMod / VR intro animation, really great stuff! Very entertaining too; I feel like referencing SMB4, Druaga1, and other stuff along the video brings people closer in a way to your content, since "hey, she watched the shit I did!!!" Great music choices all around, and I knew that we were going to see some Linux-y shenanigans once that supermarket muzak played; it's like your trademark at this point, like Gay Activity and the Yogscast, haha. The ending... The ending genuinely made me tear up. Fear of the unknown is truly something painful, and it really messes with you. I hope that whatever the future may bring for you, and the others, is only a positive turn in life. "I'm unfamiliar with happiness, always had to hide, never being where or what I wanted" That. That fucked me up. As a trans person it really hit close to home to me. Conforming to expectations and not being able to be who you want to be really sets a negative tone on your self-esteem and self-image. I really, _really_ hope that now that some time has passed you're making progress on becoming what you want to be, and I wish you only the best. I would ask "is everything okay?" but I feel like that's a question that's too pushy for a random UA-cam comment. Just know, Snoopie, we waited for your return for this long, I'm sure we're all willing to assist you in any way we, an audience, can. Until we see eachother again; take care, - Ilma
okay, i fucking love how it starts like a completely different thing, and i'm like "noo, what's happening, this isn't right", and then it starts slowly derailing towards the usual shenanegans. You got me there, Snopie, you got me there. I was actually scared for a second.
Ha. Someone would find it prehistoric... like me with CP/M or Novell NetWare, and I was born in the mid '80s and I had to learn my way around the pure MS-DOS.
That outro got a lot more serious than I was expecting from this channel, I hope you're doing okay. Great video as always, probably your best work so far.
By the way, as a second message, the themes in the background of feeling like you're already in hell or dead or that you are a ghost or a shell of yourself and stuff like that, I feel similar, the fact that I didn't know who I was for the longest of time, the fact my early life was blissful before it crumpled before my eyes, the fact that I have done horrible things to people that I probably will never forgive myself for, and the fact that a particular trio of actions during one year has made me wonder why I am still here and if I can ever trust my actions ever again. I feel like I died that year, and I am a ghost walking this earth. But I keep going, because I am terrified of the end, as much as I want it, and I still at the very least want to acheive what I want and see if bliss is still possible again, despite everything, despite what happened to me and what I did. That's how I relate to things I suppose with the this video, it just feels similar how things feel, and I hope things get a lot better for you snoopi! ❤
Hey Snoopie, I read the text at the end of the video, and I have got to say please hang in there. I know we don't know each other, but even so, your videos and you yourself really etched onto me over the past year and a half I have been watching you. Even in that short time, I noticed your absence and wished for your return. Please know that you have value. People wouldn't have subscribed to your channel or joined your Discord if that wasn't true. It's obviously fine if you want to take a break, but please pop your head in and say hi or nya every once in a while. 🙃

WOOHOO Glad to see you uploaded a new video and its always fun to see someone struggle with Linux lol. Those boutique distros are always a pain in the ass lol. You should have just went out and grabbed Debian, they still provide images you can use on a 32bit CPU and work much better out of the box. Also keep your head up and always know that no mater what happens and how crap you think life is going you gotta love yourself and know that your important to someone even if that someone is you. I only found your channel about a week ago from a friend, but by this time I've probably watched,, most of your videos already! (good timing I guess!) I've sat laughing constantly at the funny skits and silly trans jokes for five minutes straight. I love the stuff you do, its truly amazing, it's made me feel almost like a kid again, full of curiosity and wonder. it's made me remember why I love doing things like this. thank you a lot for sharing your creativity, showing everyone what you love (and sometimes hate), and I hope everything goes well!
i like seeing how you've incoporated more "professional" b-roll footage into your videos more often, it really feels like you're investing a good amount of personality and care into doing what makes you happy. im sure it makes others happy too, dont forget that. and yes, the gmod b-roll also looks professional too, i was laughing pretty hard thru the beginning. more than anything else, remember that time moves on, some things change and some things stay the same, but all you can do is stay true to your journey. sometimes online we feel like we have this obligation to continue down a certain path, determined either by others or by our own fears. that isn't true though, even if every company under the sun wants you to think that way these days. it feels best seeing folks i know share themselves online when they do it without obligation, without the feeling they need to keep up an appearance or a schedule for the sake of metrics or for whatever. sun sets, sun rises, sun sets, winds blow, sun rises, waves crash into the same rocky ragged cliffs, sun sets, days pass, years pass, but i still hear your voice carried on that wind. take care of yourself

Always be yourself, promise me that no matter how much the world might change around you, that you will continue to push on and be you. You're super young and very knowledgeable, look for experiences and make connections in what you ultimately might want. All I really know about computer tech is very basic stuff and simple programming. I'm to be 23 in August and I'm still getting a lot of my shit straight in life. You remind me of my younger brothers, they are pretty much starting university years now, gamers and computer pros in my books. Looking back I'm proud of having pushed myself to live and study biology. I would have never had my job or knowledge if it wasn't for the support of my wife, family, and friends. Always be appreciative of what you have and never give up, especially on yourself. Lots of love to you my friend and take good care.
I was having a pretty terrible day, until this drop in my feed. Now i feel like playing with some old forgotten machines...Now where did I put that old Emachine laptop at...
It is 4 am on a Wednesday, I have been sleeping 4 hours on average for the past 5 days, my mind is running on pure adrenaline and caffeine, I just watched this entire thing. I feel... happy, comfy, I think I'll go sleep now, thank you, it was a very cute experience.
Holy shit the video production quality of this video is amazing honey! That case is gorgeous btw. As for parts being in the weather, one rainstorm is nothing for computer parts, especially old ones (other than the hdd of course). Back when I built my first AM2 gaming rig it was built from parts that were left open in a backyard through rain and freezes. The case sat full of water and leaves on it's side for 2 months before I got it. I've found you can strait up wash parts in a bathtub or with a hose and as long as you live somewhere that's fairly dry and not like 100 percent humidity you can leave it in the sun for a few hours to dry out and it'll run great XD Found your channel recently and I'm all about it. Inspires me to kick my channel up a notch. It may be time for me to do videos on my '99 Gateway again.
This reminds me of finding an old IBM at the bus stop. Unfortunately,it was JUST a case and motherboard. Part of me wanted to take it home and see if it could be a Minecraft server.
yayayyyyy new video also at 27:51 is that footage from that one channel that just fucking destroys electronics because i remember i used to watch them 😭
Like many others have said before me, I'm glad you're back and still uploading videos. Stay well, there's people (like me) that enjoy your content (even the older season 2 videos. It's interesting seeing how far you've come). That being said, I asked on another video already, but could you tell me what song you used in both your UA-cam on old iOS videos (and the 1st gen iPad jailbreak video)? Please help it's been living rent free for ages-

Wow. The production quality of this is insane. I've always liked your vids but this is truely a cut above what I see from other channels
So happy to see you back and fine
Just discovered your channel and love it! Cool ass project too, i love tinkering with old hardware i find
Love how a lot of your movements have like 2-3 microattempts before success very relatable
They absolutely do (well, did) make cold cathode fans, and they are GLORIOUS.
nice vid, do what you gotta do. outro got me a litttle. never give up fren.
Also, fellow june fan
good video and welcome back
We're SO BACK!
Thanks for putting the song list in the description. You have some impeccable taste.
This reminds me of finding an old IBM at the bus stop. Unfortunately,it was JUST a case and motherboard. Part of me wanted to take it home and see if it could be a Minecraft server.
RETURN OF THE QUEEN!
holy shit druaga621 made it into a video i can die happy. I hope you’re doing okay
AN BRAND NEW COMPUTER FILM!

I found your channel today, And the videos actually are very good. Keep up the good work!
yayayyyyy new video also at 27:51 is that footage from that one channel that just fucking destroys electronics because i remember i used to watch them 😭
This video was WAY more intertaining than the average trash pc videos I've seen before. Great video!
Please help it's been living rent free for ages-
Cold cathode>LED
Also, thanks for this, I know a thanks on the internet might seem insignificant, but I give it with all my heart. Wherever you go and whatever you do, just know that there are people who care about what you do around this little marble we call home.
w-we're the same age?! It sounds right but feels... huh. In that case, good luck with everything life is throwing your way! ^w^
WELCOME BACK OMG
missed ur vids!!!
I am a minute in and this is already art.
I had that exact same PC case 20 years ago, but it was in blue. No idea where it is now, but it really took me back.
Aw, just found this channel, somehow only just. Do what makes you happy, make what makes you happy, that’s all that matters here. Epic music choices btw :3c
Yaaaay, you're back! ^w^ And oooooh, such pretty lights during the building phase~ :3 Really impressed with the production quality here, especially the machinima intro!
Also, I totally lost it @ 17:45 X3333
This was,, so beautiful,, my 1st Class BA(Hons) in Digital Media Production is quaking
so i just found your channel and im here for it now
Web browser got eaten by Bowser...
Nice install despite problems. I never thought it would work on such an old platform - one that'd qualify for Puppy Linux if not Tiny Core, because anything else would be unbearably slow. And yet you did it :).
I love your hair, it's so fluffy :)
