Repairing noisy scratchy pots with static on a GK Galien Krueger RB400 bass amplifier amp head

Scratchy or noisy pots or knobs got ya down? It's a really easy fix on an amp like this GK RB400 or any guitar or bass for that matter. It's likely you can fix them easily without ever opening up the amp. Even if you need to get inside, you'll likely find it's a 2 minute job to make them clean like new.

Before I put the amp back together I sprayed the pots since it was already open. They are now buttery smooth. IF you already have the spray, use the spray. Especially if you actually opened the amp already 😀

Hey I’m getting a scratchy poppy sound when the amp is just turned on by itself… do you think it is the same issue?
