    I was very fortunate to visit this region in October of 2021. I was in Brive La Gaillarde staying with my sons husbands parents. Each day we would get in the car and his husbands Mom would drive us to a different area and we would walk around and experience the absolute stunning beauty. I can’t wait to go back again in the spring of 2023. Great video guys!

    As a native from Sarlat-la-Caneda, great job on highlighting the beauty of the region. Although I thought I knew a lot of the little hidden villages in the region, Najac is one I still yet have to discover. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your travels.

    I was there summer of 2020 and must say, it was my favorite area yet. Castle Beynac and Le Roque-Gageac were equally as impressive. I'm planning my next trip and this video makes me want to go back that much more. Thank you!

    Brilliant videos. I watch all your videos. I actually went to Najac because of your recommendation. It was fantastic. Im sure that you said in one of your videos you travelled by blabla car. I was wondering what this was like? Cheers.

      Aw that’s very nice to hear! Glad you enjoyed Najac, we would love to visit again. Blabla car was easy to use and the people were very nice. Just need to be flexible as you’re car sharing with someone else that has their own schedule. Definitely worth a try!

    Apart from the scenery, is there much to actually do in those villages in the form of cafes and shops/stores?

    Honestly guys, this video was insanely helpful for me in making my itinerary for my France trip this August. We just did a reaction video on France travel, and I’ve been watching tons and tons of videos on Dordogne and stumbled across yours. Awesome shots and footage of the architecture and landscapes of France here! Well done Luke and Tyler, and greetings from California ✌️😃

    Hello, how did you travel from Sarlat to Figeac?

    • @LukeandTylerTravel
      @LukeandTylerTravel  3 роки тому

      We took a bus from Sarlat to Souillac train station, then a train from here to Figeac. Check the bus time table carefully as they don’t run frequently

    I would like to ask a quick question about your train ride from bordeaux to Sarlat. 1st of all, how much is it? How long is the train ride, and when you got There I can't imagine there was a place for you to rent a car so how do you get around?I'm just trying to work out some details for a Trip. I'm no stranger to traveling and I always work it out and Google. My buns off and try to find all the things I need to find including prices et cetera but you guys have a nice comprehensive video here and I think that you may be able to help me explain how that happens.I Spoke to my airbnb host and she basically told me. It's out in the country and that you need to get a car when you're in Bordeaux to take it out to the town's.What is your advice?

      Hey! It was a few years ago but we paid around €30 for the both of us for the train from Bordeaux to Sarlat, taking around 2.5 hours. It is indeed out in the country but not impossible to get around by public transport. We walked around Sarlat on foot and then took a combination of bus/train to get to our next destination: Figeac. We often use Rome2Rio to help plan trips by public transport if that helps.

    Did you buy the euro rail ?

    • @LukeandTylerTravel
      @LukeandTylerTravel  2 роки тому

      No we didn’t have a Eurail pass on this trip. We just paid for the bus / trains as needed.

    Hello, Luke ! Nice video, and nice trip. You were right to visit this part of France 🙂 But don't bother too much much with the prononciation of "Figeac" 😉 It is not "FigÉac", but simply "Fijac" : the "e" is silent 😉

      Glad you enjoyed the video! Haha thanks for the tip! Always happy to hear how things are pronounced by a native speaker 😊
