I love this series! Just caught up after coming across your channel, as a new starter to Eve I am looking for ways to easily start and get to where I want to be! Thank you for teaching me a lot of basics!
I think mining in high sec is almost afk income, as in find belt, mine while eating or watching some Netflix, even better with fleet boosts but solo Procurer as good tank if fitted well, I think the days of gangkers taking out mining ships is less of a problem, I remember the Hulkageddon days lol.
I’ve never looked into how much in game you have to grind to go Omega. I don’t know the amount of PLEX this takes. I do know I pay mine monthly. I know the injectors are costly. The large are very costly. You must be doing a lot of behind the scenes work in order to mine that much Veldspar to afford it. Kudos to you for persistence.
I was just wondering, do you use mining drones with a Proc or Retriever? I wasnt sure if it was worth it or if I should just load mine up with def drones and let my mining lasers do all the work. Im asking because I noticed you didnt have any when you made your newest mining video.
Hi JAKEL33T, how did you get the ISK for Omega and barge so fast? You have started episode 1 like a month ago. I'm calculating that 500 plex is roughly 2,35 bil ISK and one Venture hold of Veldspar is like 0,5M making it 4,65k runs. Assuming I can do up to 4 runs per hour, it still takes over 1,16k hours - so 48 days mining 24/7, if only 8h per day we have over 140 days with that.... Scratching my head - What am I doing wrong? I have fairly new character
He was mining in low sec just like all of you should do if you actually want to make money, since alpha ships cost nothing 99% of the time you "need" to take the high risk high reward way if you wanna start playing the game for real :) Also if you get into any corp that is well setuped there are hundreds of them, they do moon mining you make more than 200m there a day
It could be worth it. Doing a little high sec mining from time to time, and without any intrusion from npcs or other players... a belt is worth roughly 150 mil. At least in a .8 in the area I was in. Had 15 to 17 belts or so. Takes some time, but, 1.2 to 1.5 bil worth
Bro you wont be clearing belts in a single ship, you going to need a fleet with orca support. And at that point being solo is never possible to earn with isk, sure you can have 10 accounts making 10m per hour, but that's only 100m per hour, and you need 20b isk per month to omega all 10, do the math, it's bad. When you can have a single alpha account making 200m easily an hour doing other activities.
I actully tried that, is not as good as it sounds, it is better mine ice if it is in High Sec, it can actully be a regular way to earn ISK peacefully more or less but I did it with an Orca and a procurer, I stimated 20m per hour
@@umadbroimatroll7918 thats correct bro, at the end, null ratting on a Big Alliance is the best and easiest way to get rich, I mean I started Mining with a venture lol, then I joined on DARKNESS and i changed to salvage other ppl ratting wrecks until I got the skills for a Vexor navy, with that I made 15-20m each 20 mins, not counting scalations selling. a Maze if you dont have the ship to run them could be sold on that time at 100m ISK
4:15 I haven't played in years but this sounds like bait. Don't mine more ores personally valuable to you. Mine what we need. You should totally kit your ship out with maximum tier 2 drones that way when the loot pinata explodes we got more droops. I've observed this through all of these videos.
I think mining veldspar is the fastest way to make ISK but also mining is the slowest. I think You can make around 3M per hour on a Proc so you can do the math there you can do 120M per week which is slow and will take more hours than just huffing gas but it seems to be the easiest thing to do :D
Bruh, mining is the bottom of the chain for sure. 3m an hour? That's the equivalent of being a minimum wage worker at McDonalds. I spend 40m or more just because I dont want to go 2 or 3 jumps for a single module. I make 100-300m an hour with an alpha account. You gotta stop mining bro 😭😭
@@umadbroimatroll7918 Yea mining sucks unless you are fleet mining :( you can make around 100M+ per day with a hulk in a boosting fleet but that implied you already have omega :(. Gas huffing though you can make 140M+ in an hour so it really just depends how risky you wanna be
@@scargaming21 I do enjoy myself a bit of wormhole gas, and highsec when i spot it. Those numbers are okay and the risk is tiny using ventures, using my 3 accounts I've made about 10b gas mining and wormhole site running in the last 2 months, and that was only in a c2. Granted it did take 5b investment to start it, but since I had no losses I was able to sell the setup materials and ships to get about 9.5b in profit, the 500m is taxes, fuel costs and hauling services, because moving things yourself makes risk, using red frog is 100% safe.
@@umadbroimatroll7918 Yee I started doing PI but its not paying off yet doing T2 materials atm, I'm hoping the T2 Mats pay off so I can keep getting omega otherwise ill have to pay out of pocket T-T but I think the most profitables for me has been moon + gas mining and sometimes Ice when a non big corp isn't in the belt
Hate when someone makes a video about getting Omega for free but then uses connection that a new player wouldn't have. This series up until this point just feels very disingenuous.
Kind of disappointed as I was watching this to see how to mine into omega. You went right to Omega on this episode and left out what I was looking for. Not sure what audience you were looking for as it leaves out huge step of going omega so not useful for new players unfortunately. Like the videos though but was disappointed like the middle of the book is missing.
@@JAKEL33T I guess what I was looking for was the actual Alpha to Omega. I was hoping you would be covering how much ore you would need. How to sell it correctly. How to convert that to the Omega subscription. What to do as soon as you turn Omega. How to train once you upgrade, etc, etc. It just seemed the title grinding into omega would cover just that and not just be in an alpha miner grinding one epsiode and in a omega the next with no explanations how to get there. Sorry but was just a let down after watching 7 episodes and bam into omega.

Here. Roughly 4.2 to 5.1 million is per plex. You need 500 plex per month.
Yeah the way I look at it is that it takes less than one hour of work every month for me to buy omega. So that's how I get omega. Pay for it with usd.
@@Notpopularopinion that's quite a lot
@@brianchristopher8843 yep but isn't it over 30 per month?

Yea I don't want to falsely accuse them but it does seems like they took the short way
They were doing higher risk mining for sure. You basically cant mine veldspar into omega in a venture. Its just not happening.

What is your reccomendation for a station dump solo fit, Exhumers with a yield boost and afterburner etc to speed up align times?
Def worth it!

Mine Merco is enough for buy plex? I mean, it can only be mined with Mining barges right? How profitable can it be?

Why would you not have mining drones helping you?
Would you perhaps be so kind as to missile and mining hardwirings - tad unsure on a few - ur assistance and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

What I did daily was covered in episode 10. Doing 35+ episodes showing the same daily & repeativie grind wasn't going to work.

35 days passed from episode 1-9, with the breakdown in ep10.
