      @@KristinesDay Can't wait for new interesting patterns, I "only" have 100ish squares to go to achieve my diary-blanket :D aka: our life in the motorhome-blanket So the majority of the squares have to klick with the topic and be meaningful in that sense.. I did the eye one too of yours and I think one more. And I just realized you also have cooking thingsssss vids :) Perfect, will be trying some of those recipes out, too once the sun gives me more power for appliances :D

      @@KristinesDay I've just checked: I did the squiggly ray Sun, The strawberry, the heart and the yin-yang with you :D maybe moon too, not sure abt that one 🤔
      But I do have YT channel - with 2 shorts :D hahaha, yt editing and all that, ain't nobody got time for that anymore- so I prefer TikTok: easy quick editing, WAY better exposure than youtube and gets you with people way faster. So yeah, that's that.
      I'll beee looking forward to your next squares!

    Currently working on the pattern and wanted to make note of something in regards to the pattern, the round you do after the join, people who are left handed should turn their work so that the pattern works for the direction in which they crochet. Otherwise, you are crocheting away from the center instead of towards it.
    If that gets mentioned later in the video (working as I'm watching for the first time) that's awesome.

      Thank you so much for noting this! Really useful tip! 🙌🌟 Since I'm right handed, some of these things just don't cross my mind, but I will try to consider for the future tutorials. 🤗

    after the yin yang is made and i start to make the square, i’m confused on how to put slip stitches in the clusters. aside from those 2, i counted 46, so do i put 5 in those clusters? the cluster has one long strand behind it, but when i try to slip stitch it, it turns into a chain. i’m just struggling 😢

    Please explain where you put the metal thing aka stitch holders it wasn't clear enough

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  7 місяців тому

      Sure! So there are 56 stitches in total, which means there are 14 on each side of the square. So placeholders have to be added on each 1st and 14th stitch ☺️ I hope this clears things up! 🤗

    It should be cotton for clothes?

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  7 місяців тому

      I'm using 4ply cotton yarn, which definitely can be used for making clothes ☺️

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  7 місяців тому +2

      You can use any yarn for this. Here is the brand and type I am using.

    It's a bit difficult for me to see where you put those slip stitches around the ying yang, right before I make the square frame. Like I can't see were to make them in some places.

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  5 місяців тому +2

      You have to do it in the backloops of the stitches from the round. In some places where you have connections and turns to the other row you will have to do multiple in the same space. I advice you to count and calculate to make sure you do the right amount of slip stitches in total. :)

    Is there a way to not have the gaps in the corners

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes, just do 3DC instead of ch3. :)

    im really struggling with counting and marking the stitches and i know u’ve explained it to someone else before but can u explain it one more time in a more detailed way? like i’m a toddler? do i not count those weird stitches or do they count as one stitch or what? and where do i start counting? from those weird stitches? im sorry i got so confused i’ve watched that part like 10 times but i still don’t get it

    • @KristinesDay
      @KristinesDay  2 місяці тому

      In total you should have 56 stitches all the way around, make sure to count including all stitches (weird or regular) to make 14 on each side (including start and end). Place marker in the 1st and 14th, then proceed with the next set of 14 for the following side - marker in 1st and 14th.
      Hope this helps 🤗
