On the bachelorette he says that he's a virgin, not because he's waiting for marriage, but because he wants his first time to be with the right one. He and Aly seemed to have a great relationship, she's wonderful, I can't imagine anyone more "right" so either he's lying about being a virgin or he's lying about not waiting for marriage. (Or he's gay obviously but when is that ever the case? The best ones are always straight unfortunately).
Cabal Paxiarch I had the same thoughts at first, but when you remember everything she went through with Larry Nassar, I think sex is the last thing she was going to easily open up to do. So it kind of makes sense if he was a virgin going into their relationship as well as coming out of it.
