are you making it bigger as it double the width and length? If so, then yes double everything, but if you're just doubling the width and not the length or vice versa, then just double the number of cords OR double the lengths. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Pretty. When you show the description of the material in the video, you mention #1, 2 and 3. However, #1 and #2 seem the same. Sorry if I’m missing something that distinguishes one from the other :)
The only difference between #1 and #2 on both options is that you use the length of 300cm for your 40 cords instead of 200cm in option #1. Let me know if this still doesn't make sense!
A great turorial, thank you! I am desperate to try to make this chandelier during quarantine but because of the Covid crises the 4mm cords are nowhere to be found in my country. I can either get 3mm or 5mm. Would you please advise which ones to get? I am afraid that if I choose 5mm ones there won’t be enough space for them on the metal circle and if I choose 3mm ones there will be too big spaces between the cords... 🤷🏻♀️ Thank you so much for your reply!
Do you have the same sized rings I had used? You could use either or, but if you have the same sized rings, it may be difficult to complete the pattern I showed using 5mm. I would prefer 3mm if you only have that choice since you can always add horizontally to the pattern and create another diamond. Hope this helps!
Bochiknot Macrame Well I haven’t ordered the rings yet but I assumed to use the same size since I am completely new to macrame and I wouldn’t know how to change the number of cords if I got bigger rings (although I would prefer bigger chandelier). Maybe this is too ambitious project for someone that has never tried to do any macrame but I will try it anyway 🙂 Thank you very much for your help!
Hi there - most likely you can find similar materials in the philippines. However if you are interested, the materials I use do ship internationally so check out the links in the video description for more info! :)
Yes you make this small one first and then we will add to it next week (this is option #2). If you just want to make this small one then that's option #1. Hope this helps! :)
If you guys are interested in more macrame tapestries and lamp/chandelier designs please leave a comment below and let me know! Love you guys! Nikki

Hey the music is perfectly perfect 👌
This is stunning
Wow! So beautiful and elaborate! It looks like it takes so much rope and work.
👍 nice job 👍
This is great! How do you attach a light cord to the shade? I'm confused on how to make it hang. Is there a loop? What do you suggest? Thank you!
Hi Nicole. Great tutorial. I'd like to make this but bigger. Is it as simple as doubling everything?

I love this and plan to try it. Thank you for the tutorial. So kind of you. I do find myself muting the parts where you play the music.
How do you mute the music? I just find it distracting.
Me too unfortunately. I just turn off the speakers in my computer. Then I have to keep turning them back on to hear when she talks though. 😮
