The issue with the game doesnt lie within there being a problem with heavy and nukes. This type of stuff has been demonstrated and purposedly made to happen on their trailer video for the game. The problem is no mediums ever having aps turret or there being enough people running light properly and using their glitch nades. There's literally counters to everything, just cuz you dont see the people using the counter doesnt make it broken. just means you need to adapt and change your playstyle when there is a heavy nuke or something along the lines, just needs more awareness to the counters, this game is different so treat it differently plain and simple
Nukes should not be a thing, yes they are countered by stun gun and GL Nades but nukes just outrange them. Nukes come out at the start of a fight usually while moving. I understand that there are countermeasures for certain circumstances but nukes should not be a thing. aps turret definitely needs a buff, I agree its underused but it wont stop a well placed nuke. While I agree lights are not played "correctly" they are still very week in comparison to other classes. THE ONLY major problem I see with the game are the nukes, being able to do 500+ AOE damage with minimal skill or coordination is ridiculous.
hard disagree, the mechanic is not the issue. The issue is that it takes half a mag to destroy the throwable. If the flame barrel took 2 bullets to blow up, nukes wouldn't be a problem, at least in higher skill tiers.
@@Nicastians I could see this working as well, only thing would he a lot of the time you don't see where the nukes are coming from, and they travel at such high speeds being thrown from heavies that you have very little, if any at all time to react and actually hit fast small flying object being thrown at you
@@SlNAVAR In my experience, if you're not seeing the heavy, you're not positioning yourself correctly and therefore can get punished by it. And so if you're positioned correctly you can see the barrel before it hits you, and, shoot it.

Not being able to attach things to throwables is defs the nerf we need.

That would be the easiest way to get rid of it. And it really needs to go.

@@Nicastians this would be a fun nerf! Honestly would rather just not have nukes at all though
