You just may find one that we purchased but never used. I always direct everyone to my go-to luxury reseller, FASHIONPHILE, who has a few now. One or two of them seem to be in great condition. SirStanley hey there. Congrats to your friend on his purchase. Was his pre-owner? The newer models have the brown interior whole the older (first) models has a red/terra-cotta lining.
I have them. and I bought them At Louis Vuitton store . And I Wear them on my Waist when I was Young. Now I looking back at the same Bag and I see there is Fading on the Head of Zipper and the little Leather that hold the Strap Together was damage because of me Putting them on my Waist and Rubbing the Leather toward the buckle of my Belt. You think I can go to Lv store and Fix them or just Buy a Brandnew Bag?
They do not make these in black BUT people who have wanted this bag in black have found the Avenue Sling Bag in Damier Graphite to be a close second. Good luck!

Yes, maybe it’s “NEW” to the person buying it but it’s certainly not the latest configuration of that bag in production. I’m glad that I was able to save you from a potential nightmare. Now if you are looking to get a pre loved one, then that’s ok. The older models DO have the terra-cotta lining and Velcro. Somewhere in the mid 2000’s they did away with terra-cotta lining and opted for the chocolate on quite a few of their the men’s Damier Ebene pieces (The Bastille Messenger bag and the Geronimos Bag to name a couple). If you wind up getting one let me know. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. 😉

Duy I have never seen this in black. I know that in the past, LOUIS VUITTON has had the option to special order certain bags/colors BUT I strongly doubt that this is one that can be special ordered. 🤷🏾♂️

B2 B2 if the 5th Avenue (or any Louis Vuitton store for that matter) sold me a fake, we will have a major problem! I’m no expert BUT it’s to my understanding that the older models have Velcro while the newer ones do not. I will definitely consult my sales associate on this one to confirm.
