What inspired Marion, the Lead Consultant at Majestic Events Kenya , to launch the Events Planners Workshop ?
‘When I came into the industry 10 years ago there was literally no one to hold my hand and take me through the practicals of planning an event after I finished my diploma at the Samanthas’ Bridal School in Kenya, so I had to figure it out on my own. I promised myself that the moment I became an established Event Planner and the Majestic Events brand became known for what it does, I would then find time to help other planners. I therefore started by going back to teach at the Samantha’s Bridal School. After 10 years, I asked myself what I could do to give back to the Industry that has given so much to me and that is how the Event Planners Workshop was born. All I want to do now, is really help event planning businesses grow in all elements of business. The Event Planning Workshop is all about ‘IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE’.
