Trish. Can I be honest, okay like I don’t get why you don’t get a nutritionist and a personal trainer? You have all this money and I just don’t get it. If I had money like that I would for sure get help from others to accomplish my goals. It doesn’t hurt to try something new that you never have done before.
I’m just saying there is help out there and you are not alone.

I agree- also- Fast food is because it’s easy. If a personal chef had meals at the home that may be a good idea. Also, I would love to see what they cook. Could probably help a lot of people. One more thing, your body changes when you have a child. I never cared because I had the best blessing ever. That’s what I focused on. :)

I think you have very skewed ideas of diets and weight loss. Calorie deficit is good short term and eating the right foods that will keep you full. If you want long term weight loss you don't even need to count calories just eat the CORRECT things. I'm not sure you know what foods are ok and what are not. You will never lose weight spiking your insulin as much as you do. The smoothy alone is a bad idea. I hope you succeed in becoming healthy and I hope you finally hire someone that can help you. Food is a trigger, a clutch, a reward, a necessity, for you so you need someone who can help you when you want to give into temptation. That's where you always fail with weight loss.

I'm still working on my relationship with food, but now if I want something I let myself have it, and I still try to be "healthy" when it comes to eating like home cooked meals (mostly meal prepping) and keeping meals simple. I've also been getting back into exercising more and I'm so glad!!

Girl no! I’m a women’s fitness and nutrition specialist- I’m certain your Basal metabolic rate is at least 1500 calories, this is just purely for daily life function. I’m 120lbs and I eat approx between 1800 to 2200 cals per day, not strict calorie counting, just aware because it’s my career. I guarantee you, you can eat 2000 calories per day, be active 3-4 days per week and you feel amazing and still lose weight. Never deprived. I eat Starbucks, pasta, smoothies, everything! It’s about consistency. 1500 cals is too depriving and will lead you to binge after awhile because your body will want to make up the calories eventually. xoxo

    • @AImaniaX
      @AImaniaX 9 місяців тому +67

Yeah I’m gonna say that’s bs. There is people who have fast metabolism and ones that are slower.
It is extremely hard to lose weight and be eating that many calories. Even all the experts say it’s fine if you go down to 1500. As long as you don’t go down as low as 1000 calories your fine. To me 1500 is a lot of food!
You have to take in account digestion, what is stored as fat, stored as energy, what type of foods your eating etc.
For some the only way we can lose weight is by reducing our calorie intake.
Of course it’s good to not do that every maybe some days have 2000 calories to keep your body guessing. But overall in order to really see results that you want you have to cut down on the calories. Most of these people who get weight loss surgery are given a 1200 calorie die to follow. Why do you think that is?
If you want to be thinner you have to start eating a lot less. I noticed many skinny people never ever eat everything on their plate and that they know when to control themselves, they always pick salads and protein options. Sure they will eat a donut once in a while or a piece of toast but most eat a clean diet of vegetables and protein. Anyways we have different views on this but yeah I just don’t see how it’s possible that you can eat that many calories and still lose weight maybe you could maintain it but losing it I would think that’s impossible.

Currently I’ve been consuming protein foods that are low in fat and I’ve been losing quite a bit of weight but still might be high in calories. The calories give me energy and less fat makes me feel less sluggish. Now I’ve been working on lowering the sugar content I consume. Baby steps and consuming sweets in moderation. Consuming by calorie counting doesn’t work like some people think.

I would love watching videos about you with a physical trainer or Dietitian to heal your relationship with food. Seeing old videos before you had kids and the way you talked about certain topics made me realize you’d be a great mother, but also healing your personal relationship with food could also be beneficial

I’m on that calorie surplus. Or, am desperately trying to be. ❤❤❤ to everyone and their health journeys. It can feel so impossible, but the only way to get there is to keep trying. Set attainable goals, focus on one at a time. Mental and habitual progress is just as important as seeing physical changes

staying consistent is the key to success!! even if we stumble and get "off track" we don't lose all the progress we made, instead we just have to pick back up and keep going. Its a marathon not a sprint. love your comment thanks for the support!

Apparently when we women hit our 30’s what we eat affects us so much more as far as bloating digestive issues. I’m still trying to navigate it.

trish babe, weigh yourself every day (don’t worry about the number) and average out all the (7)days on friday. only compare the friday number to the next friday number. do not worry about day to day weight loss!! love you girl 🫶

A calorie deficit is the most effective way to lose weight but if you want to keep the weight off permanently, studies have repeatedly shown that rapid weight loss is almost sabotage because there is a high chance it’ll come back on so I suggest just slightly increasing your calorie intake. Slow and steady wins the race also it’ll make your life so much easier and you won’t be as hungry. Especially for someone that suffers from binge eating. The more you restrict yourself, the more likely you are to binge. So just be kind and gentle to yourself❤

The tips is to be dedicated to a specific diet. There's tons of diet that you can't have this or that but the results are great. Also it needs to fit with your health because you can put yourself in danger if you are following a diet that risk to create health issues or risk to increase your already existent health issues. So if I was you I would get a blood test first or a checkup to know if you're okay to start with a certain type of diet. Eating too much carbohydrates and sugar are the worst enemies for women who tries to get pregnant and for those who have PCOS. I am speaking from my own experience 😊 but obviously there's nothing better to see a professional health provider like a doctor, a nutritionist or even a dietician. Wish you best 😍
