Interviews with Peace Corps Volunteers about their experience living with host country nationals and tours of their homesteads. Created by Cedar Wolf, 2008
Very well done! I really appreciate the multiple views provided b!y several volunteers. It was insightful and provided some things for aspiring volunteers to consider looking at within themselves before embarking on the Peace Corps journey. Thank you and your fellow volunteers so much!
Hi Erkkie, I wish I had more interviews with the families themselves as well. It was difficult to get this footage due to people's schedules and my schedule as well plus the fact that I just didn't have that much experience doing video when I did this project.
Quite informative and insightful about volunteers' experiences in Owamboland Namibia. Please stop saying 'Africa' this 'Africa' that. Africa is a diverse continent and diverse cultures. Generalizing experiences in small corners of the continent to the rest is simply wrong. I also feel the views of families living with volunteers are predictably missing.

Great work volunteering in Namibia.
Thanks. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Do you go and experience their life or do you actually do tangible things to help them?
