so in geometry we had to make 6 different origami animals and there's this one asian kid in our class and kids kept asking him for help and he got so fed up that he stood up, picked up his chair, and screamed "FOR THE LAST TIME, JUST BECAUSE I'M ASIAN DOES NOT MEAN THAT I AM JAPANESE, AND NOT ALL JAPANESE PEOPLE CAN MAKE ORIGAMI!" I was wheezing XD
A little tricky to follow at times but was actually really good. I'm not great at origami and my folds tend to be uneven but my bunny still looks like a bunny. Thanks so much for the video it was really fun to make 😊
hey guys, the video was quite well made. pausing is your best friend. i enjoy the silent video, its a personal choice. if you like it voiced out there are some out there. the paper was a little small in my opinion for a tutorial, but the end result was nice. so just because you didn't like it, doesnt mean it was trash. the video is well made no doubt. thanks Mica.
No way it’s hard to tell which way he turned the paper and his blocks out some important folds with his hand in lots of parts. Ima keep trashing this vid
I just made these bunnies with my boyfriend and they turned out great, thank you! If people are having trouble following, I would suggest just watching the video at half the speed in a few parts. Honestly, I don't think that this tutorial was so terrible for people to be so negative about the hands being in the way. It's the nature of the craft when you're folding small pieces of paper with your hands. Thank you very much for this video!
@@lightskinlover111 it's actually pretty good! If you see the instructions and make it on the first try you will get it right! I just made it( first try) and it's awesome!
the video: *makes origami rabbit in 5 minutes* me: *makes origami rabbit in 5 hours* ahh yes, I have finally finished my rabbit. It is soiled with my tears of anguish but looks cool as heck.
I'm a complete beginner but I found this tutorial simple and well made. I had to pause a few times, but isn't that the case with all origami tutorials? One of the nicer looking models I've come across for such a simple process!
Adorable model, and simple enough to memorize for a fun little party or date night trick. To all the haters in the comments, stop whining, you'll always have to pause and rewind these tutorial videos when learning a new design. Also, go buy an intro to origami book and work through it, you'll learn all of the basic techniques and patterns used to make this rabbit. If you want to see a genuinely difficult origami rabbit, watch a tutorial for Jun Maekawa's origami rabbit design.
I'm shocked at all the hate comments I've read. Mostly by people who are clearly way too inexperienced in Origami, it seems to me. It's too fast for you? There's a slow down option in UA-cam and you can pause it by just clicking the space bar. He tells nothing? Paper speak by itself. You can turn on the TV if you need noise while folding your paper. It's a free video, people! Get a grip. I've grown up with diagrams where dotted or dashed lines are standards and I still prefer that for difficult origami
hey,u did better than me,mine came out as a crumbled ball of paper, idk how though cuz I did all the steps, maybe i'm using the wrong type of paper?idk, and now idc...
Wow...a lot of negative comments....but I love this video. I actually like that you do not speak....much less distraction. Maybe if I was a total beginner I would need that. But, I love your video and I love this bunny!! Thank you!
Got confused at some points, but learned to set mine down and watch closely where you folded it. Commentary would be nice, but sometimes it can make it worse if you say something like: "Okay, now make 2 cubic ear folds." Heck is that? :P Other then that maybe use a larger paper just for the sake of a clearer view. Still, just use what you have. It's adorable though.
You need to work with a bigger paper, i couldnt see half the stuff you were working with. You flip it too much. You work very fast making it so we half to pause several times.
Ok I see a lot complaints in the comments but personally I loved it, found it very easy to follow. It's an adorable model, good choice of paper and a clear enough video. If you're a beginner in origami I'd advise skimming through the steps once before starting and then slowing down the video and following along with a "rough" model while you watch.
Way too hard to follow, try narrating your steps a bit or flipping the paper around a bit less, I had to pause way too many times. Next time maybe use a bigger piece of paper too? Your hands were blocking what you where doing 75% of the time, especially towards the end. Your end product looked great, but I got lost at around 3:30. Next time try making it a bit easier for your viewers to follow :)
Everyone’s complaining that the paper wasn’t big enough and the steps weren’t narrated but I’ve never done this fold and I haven’t really done origami in years yet I was able to follow this. Well done 👍🏻
This wasn't *too* bad. I see a lot of comments saying that it's too fast and that the paper is small. If you slow the speed down to, like, 0.5, it's a lot easier to follow the instructions. The ending where you make the feet threw me off a bit, but once it's slowed down it's way easier than watching it at regular speed. I did have to pause and go back multiple times, though.
this was one of the easiest origami videos I've seen. It flipped a little bit towards the end, but I paused it a couple times and it turned out perfect!! thank you!
I made 2 bunnies out of this video. I am a total beginner. Only part I got lost on was feet fold. Took some experimenting to see what his fingers did there. In all I am happy and thank you! =)
Actually, despite all the negative comments, I could actually follow you quite easily, and it was the 1st time I watched the video. Only had to pause it 2-3 times.👌😊
I like to make a few of these every year for Easter and give them as small little gifts to my friends and family. Never ceases to get a warm smile. Thanks again for the video and the easy-to-follow instruction.
To be honest, don't know what people are getting mad about, super easy tutorial, speed was great. If you need up pause pause...if you need to rewind, rewind and watch it over and over till you understand/get it, most origami isn't easy but once you understand the folds, anything is possible. Great video 😊 easy to follow 10/10
The speed wasn't too fast. Especially because theres this thing called the 'pause' button. But the feet were difficulty for me, especially the angle you had it at when you were doing the feet. Took me a couple of tries but finally got it thanks! but again..if you showed more angles during the foot work..i thin i could have got it on the first try. Any who..good video, keep up the great work!
I was following this right up until they make the feet, then it's just a blur of fingers and paper!! I've watched it a dozen times and still can't do it :D
I've never done any origami before but this video was really good :) I got lost towards the end but after watching it a few times I managed to work it out. For those struggling with speed select 'settings' (the cog icon at the bottom of the video) and play it at 0.5x speed.
Thanks for this good video! I never did Origami before but UA-cam is a very usefull tool for Origame! With 0.25 speed, it's pretty easy to follow your instructions. My first rabbit is maybe not so good looking than yours but I'm glad to have achieved this tutorial! I'm going to make more origami from now! Thanks again! :) (excuse my english :p)
Awesome video I've already made 2 rabbits. To do origami you have to be really good at concentrating and persevere and not give up. Your instructions were really good and I followed them quickly. Thank you for posting this tutorial.
For me this worked out perfectly....yup some sort of instructions would help, what would be much helpful is you bring it back to one position before starting to do the next step.... Thanks Mica
Only people with no patience seem to be complaining. Take some time to calm down before folding! Im totally new to origami and i can fold along just fine. Origami is not hard if you concentrate on what you are doing.
David Bowman This is one of the easiest models to make, so all the people who struggle with this shouldn't be allowed near sharp objects, like a mind. I got it on the first try using a 2x2cm bubble gum wrapper.
Some Guy Just because it was easy for you doesn't mean anyone can do it. I made a rose on my first attempt because the video had a skilled narrator. It's one thing to show, but another to teach.
i also had to watch it twice and pause quite a lot to make sure i was following the steps correctly, but i didn't find this instruction video as confusing as other people did. good job! i made a cute little bunny :D
Thank you very much. I found it quite easy to see what you were doing and then copy it. My rabbit came out perfect first time in under 5 minutes. Thanks.

I do it the same way actually and sometimes even speed up the video 3x :D I think tutorial should show you how to do something. Of course the one who folds behind the camera is already experienced and know what he/she does therefore the one in front of the screen can never catch up. Just pause the video
It's really tricky to follow, try working with bigger paper. Although it was partially because of my paper being creased by the last person WHO DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT EASY ENOUGH!! So it's not you're fault, it was a good make, great work! No hard feelings, I loved you're video!

There's not really a way to explain it in words, but slowing down the video might help if you haven't already
