- Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
Today we're going to be expanding our most profitable services, the freight services! We've got a great budget to play with as the passenger and stone services are making a lot of money... but wait a second, don't tell me you're going to just buy some 319s instead!?
Right so back on the freight market, we're going to be adding in some new electric hauled freight services to haul logs to the sawmill. We're then taking these planks into our main freight terminal to produce some tools, but I'm not sure if we'll manage to get it all done today.

You did use the class 90s on East Yorkshire in Intercity. Great video anyway, I know this is a big ask especially by your financial situation but could you put the class 90 as a double header since they run like that for Freightliner? Cheers.
Yes we did use the 90s, however not for freight operations :P We'll have to see, I think at this stage it's not required, however if we get longer intermodal trains it's definitely a must! :D

Great video Joe. Just one thing you are going to have to bite the bullet and use the realistic loading modes on it. You can still have plenty of trains it's just they will cope better and you won't have 300+ people waiting at stations lol
Yeah I’d have to agree her - realistic capacity mod does make it better and less people waiting around - which in turn will mean less cars on the roads - I second this motion 🎉🎉

I'm not a French speaker, but from what I can find, Rennes is just pronounced more or less like "Ren" in English. Oddly enough I think your pronunciation of the more complex names is probably pretty close (and far better than what I would do).
As far as the discussion on the realistic capacity mod, personally I'd consider all the different abstractions made by the game. Populations are necessarily smaller, but if they were realistic you'd need massive numbers of trains to cope with demand. Distances are all shorter than real life, but you're using the realistic braking mod, which slows down your trains as they spend less time at full speed. Also with such short distances, crossings are more frequent which also makes it difficult to have huge numbers of trains on a line.
Ultimately, unless you're play NIMBY Rails, there's always some abstraction that makes it impossible to simulate realistic numbers of trains and passengers. Personally, it would bother me for my vehicles to hold fewer passengers than the actual number of seats, but it's up to you whether such a mod would affect the balance in a way that's fun for you. My guess is that you could still run just as many trains, but you'd be making more money, which would allow you to do more expansion without waiting as often for funds to come in. But you are also doing okay for money at this point, so changing the balance might make it too easy!
Either way I look forward to see how things progress. These videos have convinced me to get back into TF2 after a long hiatus.
