Thanks so much for this bro. Supposedly this also stops the fake engine noises in the Ford Fusion Sport. Thanks so much as I can't stand the fake engine noises. Will remove them once I get my car back from the shop. I appreciate you making this video. Thanks again!
Thanx man!! Fixed my kids 2017 fusion hybrid I used to do car stereos back in the day and I triple checked our work Nothing came up on our google search My oldest son just got a new stereo put in his new Jeep overland The guy doing that stereo told us about your video Thanx again!!!
so hey I have 2019 Fusion Hybrid Se. It was hell untill I found out about this problem. I had subs and amp all hooked up but as soon as I would drive the sub would kick in to this awful sound and distortion. I finally found this video which was about 3 months ago and went to unplug these mics. Ok so there are 3 mics. One on driver side One on passenger side and one in the middle of the head liner in the back seat. Not knowing at first if this was going to do anything the first mic I unplugged was the one in the back. After I unplugged it I was curious to whether it made a change or not. It did. It 100% solved the problem i was having but My question to you or anyone on here is I only unplugged that one mic and haven't had a problem since. It solved my problem so I never went on to removing the other 2 in the front seat. The two in the front are a little harder to access in my vehicle because of the way the headliner concaves. In this video he pulls his headliner down flat and its right there and you can physically see it. The way mine is shaped i can't see it I have to feel for it and thats a pain in the ass. Anyone know if i should unplug the other 2. I haven't had any issues but I thought I might look into it again.
Soo Im new to install subs to a factory radio. I just installed it on a Ford eco sport. So I’m assuming those mics are what are causing my subs to go crazy when I close the trunk door or turn the gain up?
Thanks for the video. The noise from the speakers were driving me crazy. Pretty sure my speakers I replaced are ruined but at least the noise is finally gone!!!
We had the same trouble installing a sub in my 2015 ford fusion hybrid. We couldn't really unplug the mics though, so we just disconnected the mic wires from the factory amp in the trunk. Thx for the vid.
Patrick Martinez, Where did you disconnect the mics from? Is that the little box below the amp? If so did you disconnect all the wires(both harnesses)?
@@TheIntenseSense We disconnected the wires from the stock amp in the trunk. Had to get the detailed manual so we knew which wires were the right ones.
So is this still the best/easiest method - or has someone found a "better" way... like one comment said they just unplugged the cable under the glove-box area... or just disconnected the mic wires from the factory amp...? :)

Idk if it's the best or easiest way, I just know it work for me and haven't had a problem with since😉
Did the road and wind noise get much louder with these mics disabled?
No, and if it did a little i rather here that compared to the load moan noise coming from the speakers
Disabled my C-Max's ANC; however, instead of disabling each microphone, I just unplugged cable under glovebox area.
Nice, probably was alot easier 😉👍
Where is it under the glove box area? What wires are they?
I dont know, sorry
I was hoping PineappleOranges could tell us. How can we find out?
@@cskye6529 I'm thinking every car is different, I just know what work for me
My 2020 fusion we has no mic...did they move them to map light sunglasses area? Odd
I have no idea, you would think they would of had figured this thing out by now. Sorry
Unplug the mics from the stock amp then, should be in the trunk can't tell you where... I don't have a 2020
Not all have amps
thanks
Installed 4 kicker speakers 100w to 300w the 1950s speakers sounded better lol I need to disconnect this bish asap love this car but the sound is 🤡
Could have been more helpful to show us how to unhooked the shits lol but I guess it’s decent information
