Here are the answers for you! Don’t look at them until you try them first! 😎

    1. 都是我的錯,都怪我 It’s all my fault. I’m the only one to blame.
→ Both the 都 used in the sentence mean “all”, but what exactly is the speaker’s fault is omitted.

    2. 大人都吃不下,更別說小孩了 Even adults can’t finish eating this, let alone kids.

→ Here 都 is used to provide emphasis and express extremeness.
It’s often used with 連(连)in the sentence pattern: 連…...都...... (连…...都......)even

    3. 都下午了!他還沒起床?It’s afternoon already! He still hasn’t woken up (yet)?
→ 都 here is used to provide emphasis and show that the speaker thinks that this is surprising or unusual.

    Did you get them right?

left bit is zhe 者 and means: -er, -ist (maker, doer, complainer, writer etc.) it's a particle. Right part is 邑 in its variant (compressed) form, it represents the gates to the city which is something ALL people Look Forward to. So: Left is phonetic right is semantic: ALL doErs Look Forward to the City Gates.
Possibly cognate to Indo European Toto Todo Tutti Tout.

For me, it’s figuring out the differences between 都, 一切, 所有, and maybe I’m forgetting one or two others.
I generally have an intuition that 都 tends to refer to a group as a single entity (我们都...) and 所有 has some meaning of a gathering of things (所有的他们...), but 一切 has some sort of abstract meaning that makes sense when I hear/read it, but I can’t for the life of me know when I could use it (你是我的一切 being the go-to).

会 is used when talking about ability due to skill level.
能 is used when talking about ability due to prior commitments, etc.

Why does Pinyin do such a sloppy job? Changes in tones for 不, 一 & Sandhi r sometimes stated & sometimes not. Separation of syllables, capitalization, 2nd syllable (not) neutral tone vary depending on the source. Yet I don't wanna deal with Bopomofo & Wide-Gales is so archaic now.

You speak too fast.... English is not your first language, you need to slow down. In addition, your listeners are trying to digest the meaning of the new concepts. Therefore, you need to pace yourself... AGAIN TOO FAST in many ways.
