- Mat goes out for a day of fishing with Jacob Nichols of Guilt Free Fishing
Mat experiments with a 2oz VTJ but finds that the fish are really fired up over the 3oz lure with big eyes he made. They love that purple stuff!
Come along for the adventure and watch us put some great fish in the boat!
EXTRA special thanks to Captain Jacob Nichols for the invite to come hang with him on an afternoon where he didn't have any clients. THANK YOU, let's do it again soon!

That first two minutes was pure UA-cam lake trout magic, Epic video!
Great video man. The guide service combo with the VTJ was an absolute killer combo
Im 50 seconds in and I can tell this is gonna be GREAT.
Well Thank you for sharing!
I appreciate your views and comments! Thanks!
What do you think about glow in the dark jigs?
Glow is a great option especially when you are fishing deeper. I have heard good things about 802 Glow Baits, check Fishing 802 for more.
If you fish for lake trout, do yourself a favour and watch this video. Then buy some VTJs
Is this fishing or a video game?
Using a graph / fish finder is one thing but LiveScope is AMAZING
@@VT2U is livescope sporting? Does it go beyond fair chase?
@@LacyChuck I think trolling is way less sporing than this. Livescope helps you see the fish better but you still need to react in time. Also if you don't jig it just right, they won't bite. It helps if you use the right lure too... 😎
@@VT2U Fair point. I agree that trolling the way it is frequently done is unsporting also. I do admire kayak fishers and your approach and your true enjoyment of the sport. It inspires me to get out there.
