Trailblazers: A Celebration of Women in the Pride of Minnesota

This season, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of #TitleIX and highlighted different experiences of band women were impacted by this decision.
As we prepared to celebrate these Trailblazers during a halftime show on the field, we took a look back at the story of the integration of women into the Pride of Minnesota. Watch to hear from four trailblazing Band alumnae as well as Director of Marching and Athletic Bands Prof. Betsy McCann and Director of Bands Dr. Emily Threinen.
